I mainly only use scrapbooking papers etc for my Project Life spreads. I don’t like pre-printed filler cards as much because they take up too much space. I got a couple of kits from Hip Kit but find that I’m more likely to use them on a 12x12 layout than I am for their intended use. Even embellishments etc are too large for my liking, so I will use stamps more.

Hi Allie, yes I'm finding that more and more too! Goodness knows we have big enough stashes to make plenty of our own cards!

You said your small horizontals are sized to 2x3. However, I notice that with the border when you trim them down they fit across the 3 inches (including the border). So is the actual picture printed smaller than 2x3 and you trim them to actual size of 2x3?

That's a good point. My old printer used to print a tiny bit bigger than I would ask it to print, so I got into the habit of asking it to print 1.9X2.9 to get an actual 2X3 photo.... I may have printed these pics at that size just out of habit... I can't remember to be honest, but thanks for pointing it out. I'll take a look at my settings more closely next time and let you know.

@@mercytiara thanks. If I print horizontal 2x3 I want to make sure to leave enough for the white border. Of course, I could figure it out myself 😄
