I've been using the V3 Drier System (by P/M Robert Mathieson) for the last ten years. This prevents moisture getting to the drone reeds and the internal bore of the drones: I have never had wet reeds or drones since using the V3. Another great asset of the V3 is that you never have to take it out of the pipe bag to dry - it's self perpetuating. A little moisture gets to the chanter reed and stock, but that is what the reed needs to sound its best. The V3 is full of ceramic beads which are heavier than other moisture control systems, but I soon got used to that. I most definitely recommend it.
