I saw this video and made the pickle.. it has come out very, very well and my family loves it.. 😋👌🏼 thank you very much. Raw Gooseberry is the richest source of Vit C in nature.. All of you- eat Nellikai uppinakai daily, stay indoors and stay safe.🙏👍🏼

Namaskara madam, I made just like you said and it has turned out to be very tasty. I find that it is fermenting when kept at room temperature. I notice most of the pickles brought from shops don't and stay well. What should I do ?
If we add hot oil and close the lid , because of this hot oil moisture releases from the pickle and sits on the lid which in turn water drops into the pickle which will spoil it.
I prepared it last year, everyone at home loved it.. coming here again for this year ❤️

Yes.. boiling or steaming the Nellikai destroys the Vit C in it.. Pickle with raw Nellikai is the best to boost immunity 👍🏼

I do oil fry the amla after cool down i add salt, mirchi powder, turmeric, mustard n fennel seed powder n lemon juice

All the ingredients and vessels must be dry . You must not touch pickle with wet hand and spoon.quantity of salt is important in preservation.
