The car modelling guys which I believe there are 18 of them, have done such an incredible job with this Porsche Carrera GT. The metal looks so satin-like, it is sublime.
Oh man , sounds glorious !!! Really glad of what pd been doing with gt since GTsport , sounds have improved A LOT , now I need to farm and keep playing bc i really need this in my garage xD
@@xPirimental That's really sick, I don't see many games actually do that (I mostly play Assetto Corsa and while the paddle shifters move in most cars, manuals don't visually shift into gears)
I remember the first time I heard one of these in person, I was a pizza delivery driver awaiting my next order smoking a cigarette, I hear this howl through the buildings, getting louder, and then fade away. While out on the delivery, a scream builds from behind as the beautiful Carrera GT rips past me. Not a huge Porsche guy but that car is Sexy AF!
The game looks so smooth and fluid, I can't tell what it is exactly but looks better than any other racing game I've seen. The sound is surprisingly great too
Gran turismo 7 is an absolute Master piece, I have played every other gran turismo game, but this the one that stands out. We should thank the developers for such an amazing game.

Ever since GT7 was announced with trailers showing the Carrera GT, I was hoping they would get the sound right. They’ve done a fantastic job, it sounds wonderful!

Don´t know if it's exactly the same engine sound, but I got excited here... so Yamauchi, you've done a lot of improvements pal Can't wait to hear the Mclaren F1 sound that I didn't like on GT Sport
Polyphony really are masters at their craft. One of the really underrated aspects of GT games is it's beautiful sound design. Comparisons to series like Forza always talk about graphical presentation and visual style. It's a damn shame this masterpiece isn't available on other platforms outside PS.

The Porsche Carrera GT was the first car I went to in Brand Central. The game must have realised how much I was gawking at it so it gave me the invitation 😂
I will try to upload a few others, I don’t get much time to play let alone work on my TH-cam channel any longer unfortunately. The ring with rain at sunset sounds amazing. I haven’t unlocked the ring yet and I’m still waiting for my Fanatec wheel to arrive before I really dive deeper into the game. Would rather experience the ring for the first time on a wheel rather than a controller.
😆 I’ll definitely get around to it. I should be getting my fanatec shifter and handbrake in the mail today. Already got the GT DD Pro but I may have to return it cause unfortunately I’m experiencing some issues with it 😔. Drifting videos are definitely coming once I sort all this out
seems like they recorded the sounds with a straight pipe exhaust which is not bad but would be a better choise for the sport exhaust in the tuning shop
I forgot to mention that it has the racing exhaust fitted but I can assure you the tone is identical to stock, and even the sports and semi-racing exhausts sound identical. The exhaust only gives it a little more flair.
@@BecksDrives throw on some SM tires and less negative camber in the rear from stock, close to -1 it’s gonna feel more planted and adjust dampers, the car can be very smooth and the oversteer not just controllable but usable
This was a fantasy back when Gran Turismo 1 and 2 were released on the PS1. We were all so ecstatic about it as kids. If we saw something like this back then it would only be in a dream lol

Please play with chase cam for Gt7. Settings > display settings > adjust chase view > sensitivity (1), rotation (0), chase type (near)

The looks of the metal are likely done by the texture guys, but ye, the model is very high quality
model is not the same as material, and material is not the same as texture

GT7's rendering of different materials and car paint is top notch, probably the best I've ever seen
the modelling team mostly use 3d scans. My dad has had his scanned for use in the game!

I love how the shifter is actually being moved, incredible sound of it and changing gears in cockpit
Believe or not, even in Gran Turismo 4 (almost 20 years ago), the driver would move the gear shift in the correct pattern.

Sounds like it has an upgraded exhaust. A CGT with straight pipes sounds like that.

Yes the highway pulls are my favorite thing to do since the GT5 days online.
Sadly nitrous is only on races and not on open lobbies… as far as I have seen but I’ll try to make my own lobby and see the nitrous options
