    I’d buy Kabooms and DTs all day at 90%. It’s hard to find anyone selling below market right now especially at the big card shows everything is so overpriced! So you did good! Love the videos!

      Doing 5k to make 500 seems risky to me. Maybe I missed something

      @@Mrsaltypickle it’s how buying and selling are going these days and I can explain why. Repackers have changed the market. Most of them are now buying QBs and Case Hits at 95%-110%. They don’t have to purchase a card below market value to make money they just have to build their cases of repacks a certain way to make money so market has zero affect on them. Thats why the seller in this video said I can get 95%-100% because repackers pay that all day. So by him getting the cards at 90% he can move those cards at a 5%-10% profit margin at a large show. Hope that helps!

    You are buying cards at almost 100% comps sometimes and actually getting more than the sellers of those comps and some how you’re supposed to make money on top of that? How are you still afloat?

    • @shannonsscards
      @shannonsscards  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question;
      Many of different things go into buying each card I purchase. First, is it a cool card? Yes, then people will buy it especially if it’s rare. Not everyone at a card show will use comps or justify their decision to buy it off a comp. Most of the cards I buy, were 80-90%. Not normally will I go higher than 90% unless it’s someone I believe in. Like the case hit stuff, I will buy all day at 90% knowing I can get 100-110% for them from people so there’s definitely a strategy that goes behind of where is it going and who is it going to. There’s definitely times I’ve lost paying strong but I’ve been doing this for a few years now so I understand what to buy and not to buy for my own business.
      If you’re ever at a show ask me in person too and I explain more for you, it’s tough to put everything into text one here that I’d be able to explain quicker in person.
      Hope this helps!
