Great job guys! I'm not Lebanese but I lived in Lebanon. At first I was amazed at how Lebanese are open-minded and "modern" but then went behind the vitrine and realized how medieval and truly racist and hateful the core national mentality remained... as it is for all the countries in the region, including Israel of course. There can be no nation when the religious identity precedes and subdues the national sense of belonging. Not when they are so many denominations. Except USA, but then we are stunned at how religion can poison the American public debate.

Sincerely, I think you should transcribe all this into an illustrated book, which would be an excellent substitute for ,as you where saying, a almost non-existent real Lebanese history book.
