Oh wow, you got them spot on! Jayasri are definitely mass entertainers, they've been around for decades but people, young and old, still go crazy for them. And yes, they're more into live performances than music videos. They're always in demand at big open air concerts and beach music festivals.
They're music connoisseurs indeed. I'm amazed at how correct your description of them was, like you've known them for a long time!
Fun fact: they're non-identical twins!
Another pair of twins that is easier to identify is Sarith (guitarist who played between Jayasri towards the end) and Surith (drunmer). They're also very talented - they won a Sri Lankan talent competition when they were 11.

Jaya sri... are sort of reage artists.. and this song and one other song was a hit.. they are not so big..but these were all time hits ...they are mostly in foreign countries coz sri lanka music is mostly tilting to hip hop, R&B, RAP, Baila are the most popular genres and also people love good blues, classics
Blues and classics mixed with above to get that rich blend in music some times
There are few rock songs ..like
Chakithaya which made it to mainstream alltimers
But non popular genres are raege ..and heavy metal rock (there were rock concerts but not popular among masses).

2000s also we had Sureni, Jaya sri, Dellon, Chillie and some bands like nirvana who had very hits but didnt cash in with consistency..
There were rappers..earlier and Bathiya was the one who convinced rapping in sinhala is as cool as rapping in english ..and thats the turning point of the music industry to go to intetnational hights. Bathiya Santhush, Ranidu, Ashanthi, Jayasri (bailatronics)had some success on getting sri lankan music crossing the boarder , but yohani cover made the difference to make it viral like psy (but cannot compare the two..yohani is diverse and rich in talent).
