- Picked up a new welding machine recently so I figured it was about time I should put together a welding trailer for a backup rig. In this video we get the main frame laid out and also the axle and hitch put on. Look for part 2 soon. Thanks for watching everyone!!

i sure do enjoy your builds. this is going to be very handy. i would like to find a engine driven welder for my service truck. wont need it too often but it would be worth the investment.

I'm thinking about making a trailer with my everlast welder. I'm getting more comfortable using it and trust my welds now.
I cant decide if to build a trailer or mount welder on my flatbed truck I built. Cool welder, you cant have enough welders.

Up here in michigan we call that kind of tape “Hockey Tape”

Don't jump start that Miller with a battery charger. I did on my 05 trailblazer with 153 original hours.
Fried a circuit board, $1,000 to replace it.
Could you do this same thing notching and bending 4” I beams for the rails?

isnt the axle supposed to be 60% from the front of the trailer, not including the tounge? Let us know how it tracks, if the trailer gets squirrely or if the back of your truck gets squirrely please.

Same thing happened me felt like I had hot sand in my eyes , thought I’d blinded myself. I’ve seen my dog looking at a man welding but it never seemed to bother him, I didn’t notice him in distress or anything
That dog chewed up my glove haha, it wasn’t until I watched the video that I realized she was just hanging around like a dummy once I started to weld

Have you ever noticed the dog seeming to have arc eye. It’s weird it doesn’t seem to bother them.

Yep they definatley do get affected by the arc.
