For the past 40 Yeats I have listening carnatic music on the various past & present legends. Something in the special on Trichur Brothers. All their presentations are marvelous and sruti sudha. An offcouse an accompaniments are very cooperative. God Bless them all the artistes. Thanks

Even though I have watched Ur programes many times, I was not aware, Sri Mridangam Mohan sir is ur father if I am not wrong. If so ur family is gifted to be a musician and united family.
I am expressing this because, one of my sister was taught karnatic music with Sri Kollathur sasthrigal and her love life never gave any freedom to Show her talents.

The Tamil Kirukkugals say all languages are from Tamil.. so technically one can sing in any language and still be counted as Tamil Isai :)

For any upcoming artiste, support of fans is very very important and thereafter too. But they have to toil a lot to prepare for a concert in selecting suitable songs, practise etc. This is more difficult in the case of duo where synch is very much necessary. So if suddenly a fan wants a particular song, the artiste might have not prepared it or it may affect her/his schedule. Further one must know that the same ragam is not sung except in varNam and in Vistaram later if it is gana ragam. I request the person not to repeat this foolishness of requesting the same ragam if she/he reads this. If not anyone reading and who knows the person is requested to make her/him understand this. Both the boys have justified the concerted well today.

What are the Ragams in the Shlokam
Saaveri, Naatai Kurinji, Dhanyasi, Mohan, Mukhari, Poorvika Kalyani and Madhyamavathi. The same ragas in which the ragamalika Bhavayami Raghuraman is sung.

Of late, i find in your recent concerts you are not giving importance to the lyric, more so the briga. The pronounciation of the words are more important. If possible, you can try. In the present concert, in the Raagam Karagarapriya, the word Aiyappan is not at all clear. You can listen for yourself.

Tamil Isai vizha without tamil kritis...always these people sung tamil kritis as thukada..really disappointed..
Adhi very simple: Our Dumeels are anti hindu ; This concert by a Malayali; Sponsored by a telugu. Be happy that some songs are given in Tamil. Very few Carnatic musicians, Tamil Brahmins are driven out; Remaining are mostly non believers. Also we need to accept the fact that Sanskrit considered to be divine and most kirthanas are written in Telugu. Its not about tukda but Tamil songs are very difficult to sing.... like Thiruppugazh...🙏
The organisers should have made it a point to sing only tamil songs. Or otherwise mentioned only "sangeet utsav". I hope they will read this comment
