If you are wanting to buy this tv - I wouldn’t dwell too heavily on the negatives of it , for the price and the fact that it comes with HDMI 2.1 and 120HZ panel it is fine - I got mine a few days ago and I have both gamed on it and watched movies - yes the backlight is not good but with tweaking this can be more or less eliminated. I will be keeping mine and i am delighted with it - the dolby vision and atmos movies look amazing and sound amazing on it. I don’t share the opinion that the remote control feels cheap - I never got that impression and I love the way the magic remote works - def wouldn’t go back to an ordinary remote after using it.

I have this TV also and it's amazing. At first I was annoyed with the local dimming, but just turn it off and it's fine. Usually have mine on Expert light room or dark room and find it's the best setting with minimal eye strain. And have it on Vivid for watching some 4k Dolby vision videos from TH-cam. Extremely happy with the purchase.

I myself have purchased the 50 inch nanocell86 2021 tv after watching many reviews and mine has none of these issues at all. Also they have now changed the remote control so its flat on the bottom so no issues with it rolling off the arm of a chair anymore. plus there's definitely no issues with diming either as went into the settings and turned the dimming off. It has a brilliant bright vibrant picture and looks like you are really there especially when watching 4k UHD HDR movies and sport. Also the gaming picture quality is out of this world and with the dolby atmos setting films and games sound amazing. I would highly recommend this tv to anyone it has not disappointed me one bit and best of all at an affordable price. I went for a nanocell tv because to many oled and Qled tvs end up with burn in if you have the tv on alot. Im home all day most days because of my disability so my tv is on for biggest part of the day, all in all its a great tv.

Bought this TV today. A few niggles. If you're wall mounting it you'll need hdmi 2.1 with right angle otherwise it won't sit flush against the wall.
Second, I've connected to a 7 year old 2.1 sound bar and the audio keeps dropping out. Managed about an hour without a problem but usually happens after 15 minutes or so.
I hoping that different HDMI cables will solve this.
The power lead is angled but not long enough. I might have to move the extension.
My old LG had recessed port sockets so it was flat against the wall.
Finally, this is my first 4k TV. It didn't come with the wow factor I was hoping for.

From what I could see however, the Samsung qleds (4k ones) topped the nanocells by alot. If you can afford an oled, I'd recommend waiting, as the new LG oleds and Samsung oleds are coming out soon which means two things. One, you can choose to get the best tv on the market which will most likely be the new Samsung qd-oled (quantum dot oled), or you can get the 2021 models of LG oleds (c1 I'd recommend) for cheaper as it is a year old, but still more than enough of a great looking tv

With regard to 5 ft power lead, if they supplied a lead 10 ft long then some people that have a power socket behind a wall mounted TV would be saying the worst thing about this TV is the power lead is to long. In most home set ups a double wall socket isn't enough to plug all equipment in such as TV, DVD, Playstation, Sound bar, Sky box, so most people resort to extention leads

The lighting is an issue with any IPS panel (like this one) against a VA panel found in the Qleds which is by default a brighter panel. Color accuracy though is best in IPS with wider viewing angles than in VA. So it's a trade-off one must be aware of when selecting.
