Corn starch and talc baby powder will also absorb oil. I put a good amount on and pat it in and let it sit a while (for hours or overnight) to give it time to absorb the oil. It works!

Anna, the coffee bean outfit looked good on you, tonal dressing is a thing, you wear different colors from the same color family together. Like that green ombre gradient dress it had different colors from the green color family and it looked great. Just think of the sweater as dark roast and the pants and bralett as light roast! ☕ The black leather dress looked great on you!! Great haul.
I agree! You can absolutely pair different neutrals! The sweater is actually a great contrast to the ribbed set underneath. The color combo is not what would rule it out for me. I would return it because the pants are not as flattering as some others she’s worn. They’re not awful but not great either.

I think it would be helpful to buy pieces in 2 or 3 sizes. A lot of these would work in a larger size and then tailored to fit. Plus sizing is a nightmare, but tailoring is the secret.

I like it when the air cools a little after a hot summer and you get to wear cozy comfy clothes. The weather needs to cooperate a little and not get too cold.
Because the dress is only worth $45. They always mark up prices to see who will buy it and slowly decrease the price until they're near to the actual cost of the item. The more profit they can make for themselves the better. It's a smart thing industries do ;)@@MelB868
That blue color of the dress seems to have some grey in it which apparently is more of a neutral color and can therefore be worn by people with cool toned or warm toned skin. I also like it a lot more on myself that cool pastels, for example ( I also have a warmer skin tone).
What key words do you use for your Amazon searches? Most of the "plus" products I find only go to 2X (as in XS-2X, which isn't plus sizing). Or if I find extended sizes, when I click on the US equivalents, a 3X is like 14-16. 🤷♀️
Pants are the hardest things to find. I swear I've tried on 50 pairs in the last year and none fit both my hips and waist because of my shape. I'm definitely paying close attention.

For me , I’m a lil bit of a pair shape, but because I have scoliosis my left hip is 2-3 inches higher than my right, and it’s noticeable in a lot of different styles etc, and I’m only 5ft 2inches. Over the years pants in general have become horrible for me. I no longer wear jeans as I can’t stand the fabrics and I end up breaking out in rashes. So leggings has become my bff!
I know how you feel,I am a rectangle,and have no width in my hips,but to fit my waist the pants have so much extra fabric on the sides,I find wide leg pants fit best,but I’m a 2X and only 5:1 so they tend to make me look shorter.Good luck on your pants quest.
Your checkered sneakers? I bought them when I was in FL with my grandparents in the 80s. They are still stylin' now I see. LOL I LOVED those shoes! I went to a catholic school with uniforms, so wearing those shoes was my way of rebelling. LOL
It is okay to complain about the hot and cold. I am a little bummed here in Alberta. It went from too hot to cold. It like it warm and cool. I wish spring and fall stayed longer. So I understand what you're talking about.

I think ur best bet is to pick out some higher quality pants in a larger size and get them tailored. Annoying- yes. But i think its ur best bet and a good investment

As a tall girl I have never found pants on Amazon that work. I have to buy "tall" specific pants and those in plus size can be tough to find
