What you said in the opening is so true, the whole team looked like they were playing with no comms when usually they should be good for those plays
the amount of 'hero' plays they tried to do was insane
The comps they play do them no favors either. They play skill check comps that put them at a disadvantage, but usually their individual skill bails them out
I could not believe they lost from 6-6 defense on lotus
This game had me in shambles
comparing to FPX is literally what i did when my brother asked for the results, they never learn smh
they underestimated g2 and trolled until it was too late, they could have had split but then the bind was just too much momentum from g2

We already know G2 is good, its just nobody thought they would be on the level of PRX. (Even though they took a map off of 100T, who arguably looks better than PRX.)

Not an upset for me cause I highly rated G2 than most but man that Bind game is surprising. Both in terms of how G2 just rolled them and PRX letting it through like bro G2 beat 100T on Bind like cmon.

After Prx coming out so hot in the first half of Map 1, it felt like they just couldnt stop throwing for individual plays, especially Something. Dear god

I feel like PRX needs to like...hate to say it...experiment more. Still more creative than others but I think they haven't changed it up in a min and are becoming more standard for teams to play around (and yes I know the format doesn't allow for creativity but PRX is one to always risk it and make it work so I have faith)
yeah. the last time they changed things up was in the middle of madrid (forsaken raze especially) and it went as well as it could have
funnily enough, EDG experimenting caused their loss with TH. I do think PRX needs to prep more strat, and apply some level of experimentation so it's not just a monotone W gaming style they're used to
Yeah completely agree, in Pacific playoffs they pioneered some new ideas that other teams weren't prepared for (eg breach on lotus/sunset), here most of their strategies felt repeated from previous tournaments, and G2 totally expected a lot of their plays and executes.

The teams always been a bit inconsistent, I mean they lost to TS pretty convincingly a few weeks ago, another team PRX would've easily won

The problem with PRX or for that matter any pacific team is mostly how they are treated after a loss.
Today EDG crumbled because of almost this exact same reason.
Imagine not being able to win rounds and you look behind (i think they dont have to look anymore) and see your coach all frustrated expecting you to win the game for him.
And then what do you do ? You make hero plays in hope that I would be spared from disgust that we are gonna face from our own coach after we lose.
You make hero plays to try and carry team on your back.
It was a protocol diff, raze ulting 3 second later then all of them following into teleporter, bruhhhhhhh

in my op i think prx is like old astralis(before the mental coach) they are very good but they lose to teams that they have beaten before or can beat but it's that mental block that doesn't allow them so i think the need a mental coach

People were saying PRX is good at Bind and Lotus but the reality is they are not. Breeze, Bind, Lotus, they are bad at those maps. They really need to change the way thay look at those maps, rethink on what was the key elements of winning those maps. They are just better at ascent, sunset, and their split is now looking much better. Even they are better at icebox
if you realize their game is not like usual, I mean the chaos they usually create is always well organized, but the match against g2 yesterday was very different, always overpeek, no coms, and no backup for each other, well hopefully they can bounce back in The next match is against EDG, and hopes to have another match against G2 as revenge
I dont blame PRX , G2 AND 100T looks near perfect also G2 is so under rated in their current state they can any strong team like Gen G

Ive really enjoyed watching G2, they have had amazing teamwork and coordination lately. I have them as the 3rd best team in the tournament behind 100T and GenG.
They are underrated fs I was surprised PRX picked them first, for me FUT is clearly the easiest pick they could have chosen

Had G2 winning this in my bracket. Felt like it was more obvious than people thought because of map pool, and a poor showing at pacific finals vs GenG. Also NA as a region is stronger than pacific (At least I thought so going into this event). Still bummed that fnc lost to GenG that’s what’s going to ruin my bracket.
