We don't really get that loud that often. BDS is not usually as loud as JHS or Tiger Stadium. However, on special occasions, the old fuddy duddies like me, tell the "yung uns" to go for it. Texas coming to T-town just before joining the conference, a rare school we actually have a losing record against. So I suspect Bama fans will take advantage of the home field advantage and get loud. And Texas fans, we don't just do it for anybody, getting loud and excited is actually the biggest compliment Bama fans can give you.

I’ve been a Bama fan my entire life, I keep up with Bama news all year long.
I believe this year is different than previous years and will explain why.
Last year we had the #1 Offensive and Defensive player in country, But a single person can’t win games, it’s a team sport. This year Bama has players in Every position ranked between First through Third Best Players in their respected position!!!
Most importantly what I’m hearing from Every player that speaks is this team is a Family! They’ve All sacrificed Blood, Sweat, and Tears this off season together! As a professional Firefighter I know that Family mentality, You’re willing to give your life for your Brother if need be! You don’t want to let your family down for not being prepared enough or committed to do whatever it takes to win. Get ready cause Bama is about to BALL!!!!!!! ROLL TIDE!!!
What has determined alot of Bama's success are the lines on both sides of the ball; this has a profound impact on our seasons.

I agree with the UT fan when he says Bama doesn't have an elite QB or WR (as of now), but I disagree when he says Bama doesn't have elite RBs. Alabama's RB's and OL could go against almost any team in the country. Bama maybe doesn't have the best individual RB in the country, but they have the deepest RB room from top to bottom.

We have seen one game from both schools but we really don't know a lot about how either team will handle adversity. So, let's look at the coaches, Nick Saban lives for these games. Sarkisian has yet to be in many games of this magnitude. In this situation, my money is on Nick Saban. Either way, it does not ruin either team's season so just play ball!

Bama's defence is going to put pressure on Texas qb RollTide Roll
All I have to say is that our '22 team was talented, but more than any other year we seemed to not be hitting on all cylinders, and I do not say this just because we missed the playoffs. Lots of penalties indicate a lack of discipline, and you could see the signs of sloppiness on both sides of the ball. I wasn't ever a fan of Bill O'Brien either.
We have two new coordinators, and I'm reading how there is a new mindset and attitude that is pervasive on the team. And I think our QB room is as solid as the day is long.
We aren't on the downswing. I think fans are going to see a return to prominence in the next couple of years.
Finally, do fans understand that last years' game against Tennessee was the first time in ONE HUNDRED YEARS that the Tide surrendered over 50 points. You won't see that crap in '23.
Others must also acknowledge the flags thrown on us especially for pass interference...especially the interception against Tenn...they throw a flag when he ran the ball halfway across the field? Come one man, folks gotta see that is some BS. I see plays all the time where players fight for the ball and the refs let em play but not our corners...they get the flag.
Now the offsides and false starts...this is a complete lack of discipline. Those shouldn't happen.

Bama played their worst game all season in Austin, TX last year in an early 11am game and still won, that should be a major concern for the longhorn fans, not a “one more mistake by bama and we would have one” type deal. Bama will be a lot more focused and disciplined, they have improved overall as a team. Plus the fact it’s in Tuscaloosa at night I’d give Texas next to no chance of walking out with a W. Alabama has heard too much talking from everyone thinking they’re on the decline, that’s when bama is most dangerous.

Texas has been a middle of the pack program for over a decade. 4 to 5 losses year in and year out. If Texas fans think last year is somehow a notion that they can come into Bryant Denny Stadium and get a W at night in front of 100K rowdy Bama fans…. They are in for a rude awakening.

As a Texas fan I’m concerned about the Rpo game with Milroe… I’m not sure he can’t beat Texas with his arm but with his legs he’s dangerous and the loss of overshown will hurt this game …if Ewers is protected well which will be hard I think the Bama dbs will get cooked … but I still favor bama until Texas proves it on the field

Remember when Texas A&M joined the SEC and beat #1 ranked Alabama at TUSCALOOSA? That wasn't a surprise to Big 12 observers because the SEC's vaunted reputation for great defense was largely based off not-so-great offenses. The SEC has changed. But Alabama is going back to an old-school offense?

I think the pass rush might be a little better than last year at getting sacks, but a lot of that is going to be because of better coverage in the secondary.
Texas is gonna come to T Town thinking they can just let Ewers sit back there in the pocket and pick apart the Bama defense like they did last year when Pete Golding was the defensive coordinator. Not gonna happen. Kevin Steele is gonna be bringing pressure all game long and combine that with what will be an electric atmosphere in Bryant Denny Stadium Ewers is gonna be running scared for his life. I think this years Alabama defense is gonna get back to being feared once again. Alabama will slowly but steadily squeeze the life out of Texas just like a python does his prey. Texas just thought they were on Alabamas level. They’ll be reminded they’re not here very soon. Roll Tide!!!

Saban and Alabama have proven over and over and over that they will succeed. Last years team was extremely talented, easily one of the most talented team Bama has had… Here’s the issue, lack of discipline, determination, and mindset. Last years team was not committed and bought in like past teams. Idgaf how great of players you have, if the whole team isn’t focused on winning and what it takes to win then they are likely to not accomplish the goal. Alabama ranked 128th out of 130 FBS teams in penalties last season, that’s unheard of at Alabama and you cannot win when you are constantly behind the sticks. Offensive line play was very inconsistent, receivers not locked in creating separation and dropping balls. Defensively Alabama couldn’t get off the field on 3rd down and was average as hell with the pass rush. Pete Golding is by far the worst DC Bama has had under Saban and the man was terrible at making in game adjustments. Bill O’Brien made ignorant ass play calls last season in crucial down and distance situations, a lot of that had to do with the staff not trusting the offensive line enough to run between the tackles in short yardage situations. This season will be completely different, this offensive line will dominate up front creating lanes for the RBs to get downhill. QB will not be an issue due to the running game being stout which gives time for whoever is the starter to get comfortable as the season goes along. Defense is self explanatory, it will be one of the best in the nation period. This defensive unit is so loaded front to back top to bottom, the secondary is absolutely insane. The only question I have for this team is who is going to step up at Wideout and are they going to stop dropping passes. This team has the ability to dominate everyone they play and win another title. Again, last year has NOTHING to do with this year. Every single team is different regardless of who returns and who left. That’s just football. But the simple fact all these talking heads who have disrespectfully spit on Alabama and Sabans face all off season should tell you all you need to know… They will use that like they have in years past and stomp everybody in their way.

Chris Brazwell is a more true pass rusher than any of them will Anderson was just good at everything Dallas Turner drops back in coverage so yeah the athleticism is there

They don't. That is just a strawman. Is it a factor sure. But Texas played well last year. Just a couple areas needed improvement and Texas fans are thinking or at least hoping that those areas did get better.

Texas is better prepared to join the SEC this year than next year because many of the experienced players on this team will leave for the NFL draft.
From a Texas fan… it’s exciting. Texas as a state has some of, if not the most talent coming out of highschool in the whole country. That being said, a lot of Texas high school 4 and 5 stars go to the SEC for the simple fact that they’ll get more exposure nationally. Now these kids can stay close to home and get that exposure. Texas is a huge brand and their conference was holding them back. I definitely see them having growing pains for the first few years and maybe have too high of expectations from their fan base, but I think the SEC just brought in yet another powerhouse into the conference. Let’s also not forget that Oklahoma is going to be there too… man, the SEC is about to get WILD

A QB alone is not going to win a game. Let’s talk about defenses also the fact that Bama rarely repeats bad game performances from season to season. Texas will have to rely on more than a QB both teams will need defense to survive. I don’t want to hear about QB’s and offense you TX fans have not mentioned Longhorn defense and we all know defense wins games ask TCU lol TX will be down at halftime and playing catch up on the road is always difficult this will be a barn burner let’s go college football!!!
Texas' defense held Alabama to its lowest scoring output last season and only Georiga held TCU to fewer points.
I'm rooting for Bama to dominante 👍 a huge win for all of the SEC. They way Texas as a program has been negatively affecting - to put it mildly - the prior conferences they were in... They probably think they're taking over the SEC 🙄 give them a proper welcome!!

He said it best. Bama played one of the worse games ever against bama but texas best wasnt enough. The thing is the line did a horrible job of protecting bryce and didnt give him alot of opportunities to push the ball down field. I know milroe is not bryce but where bryce kinda couldve used his legs to counter the blitz and pick up the yards to sustain drives. Milroe gonna burn them.
