- Alternative Prime Ministerial candidate, Rainbo Paita says the Opposition team is formidable and that they are confident of forming a new government to address the national issues. He added that the numbers are fluid.
However, Prime Minister James Marape said the Opposition lacked numbers had the adjournment of Parliament today been any indication.

RP should let experienced politicians to Lead and he needs to learn and gain more experience first. Just because of this move as alternate PM, more senior and experience MPs will leave opposition to go back to the government.

I think it would be still better if Marape resign as Pm , and allow next Pangu man to take the leadership. Pangu had formed the government after the National and Pangu had promised to deliver to the nation.There is no point of overhauling the government now. This is because there won't be any miracle done by the new group even if they change the whole government which is place already.
Papua New Guinea leadership will not fix its problem if they continously change the government which was in place already. The VONC will not fixed all the problems, unless all the leaders come together and put their heads together to fix the current problems

To me the politics seems like a competition between Highlands vs Coast.
