Thoughts on waxing the bottom of Origin? Or would I just be increasing the possibility for slip-n-gouge errors?

How do you cut the tenon when the pieces are laying flat. At the 2:00 minute mark all the pieces are laid out as if freshly cut out and the tenons are cut into the front leg and back support pieces.

Those are replaced into their cavities for the convenience of the Session. Each of the endgrain cuts were done vertically in Workstation

Are individual offsets and depth settings customizable in auto pass mode? I didn't see this option on-tool. Thanks.

You can adjust both offset and depth in the AutoPass menu. You can find more about AutoPass options here:

I have not done any wood working for ages. I discovered you via the Tracer Kickstarter which I backed the double bundle. This tool and system is amazing and I'm definitely considering buying into it at some point. I've debated what sort of work table would be best. I had originally considered a solid top, but these tables you are working on seem far more versatile. Could you tell me what they are called so I can check them out please? Thanks!

These are Festool MFT tables--versatile to say the least! Replaceable MDF tops with dogholes, collapsible but sturdy, highly recommended for working with Origin!

Oh, also, I live in an apartment. How loud is this machine actually. I imagine you are turning down the volume some when it is running!

We have some folks who use it on their apartment porch. It's a bit loud, but not unbearable. Just don't use it at midnight :-)

It’s basically a router, so you can just lend a small router from a friend and just test your neighbours’ limits before you spend so much money…
Edit: Of course don’t forget the dust extraction. They can also be pretty loud at (semi) industrial level, which you will need. It’ll cost you another 500-800$ depending on the model.
