They keep digging him up so that they will be returned to whatever country they fought for. DNA, if any, is taken in hopes of contacting any family that can be located. All remains, even if just a rib bone is found. The gps location is recorded, and the proper photos are taken before local authorities are contacted. The guys are still treated better than they were back then. It's awsome to send them home after all these years.

I believe you are concerned by the fact that they are digging out the bones themselves. In most countries the bones must be left alone when discovered until authorites have been called in to investigate. Perhaps the laws are different here.
