      TH-cam is easy...making quality content when all I want to do is go out and fish, is not!

    if you put an inline swivel about 4 feet above your cross lock snap, you'll accomplish 2 things. #1, when your board releases, it will just slide down to the swivel and not all the way to the bait...so it won't hit the fish in the face and potentially nock the fish off when fishing longer leads (baits further behind the board to fish deeper). #2 the swivel will catch cotton wood fuzz and 90% of grass and debris that slides down your line. Having that swivel 4 feet up the line helps keep your bait running clean longer without getting fouled.

    Great trolling instructional! I appreciate these videos - always looking to learn more.
    Not sure if you do much cat fishing, but I’m interested in seeing how it’s done.

    literally asked for this video on your last video

    Had to know that was going to be Mr. Zebra making the reel scream at the end there. Guess it could have been a big eye or dork fish, but I heard the BA say "wipa wipa!" in my head when I heard the drag go.

    I am curious if you could tell me the video that you were showing about fish being below the thermocline

    Awesome video! Love the information, and to see you catching fish.
    I'm planning to hit up Hillsdale tomorrow, and was hoping to go crappie fishing, but with the recent cold front, may have more luck going to the dam-adjacent flats for walleye. What do you think?

    Have you had any luck trolling in line spinners hooked to the back of a crank bait?? I had a old man show me that setup one time it looked interesting??

    Were you using the main motor and steering with the TM?

    • @KansasAnglingExperience
      @KansasAnglingExperience  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think I was in this video. I just put the engine in gear and control the speed and turn with the bow mount.

    • @MRgnargnargnome
      @MRgnargnargnome 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KansasAnglingExperience right on. I was wondering if it was plausible to just use the TM. My big motor doesn't troll down slow enough.

    • @KansasAnglingExperience
      @KansasAnglingExperience  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MRgnargnargnome it is but you’ll likely be running on 10 to get up to and keep speed. Put a 5 gallon bucket off the side. It’ll slow you down to get to speed.

    If you don't calibrate your reels that diving curve info doesn't mean anything. 10 pound HT line. Nice video.
