In this video I look at a couple of identical looking but incompatible switches commonly used in RV slideout and awning applications.

Thank you. I’m in my 3rd switch and wondering why my relay fuse is still clicking. I need the PWR switch and was using the +/- Also, I noticed one says P10 on the side and other says P11. PWR is P11. +/- is P10

Thank you SO much for this video. I just purchased a DRV and am installing the Lippert One Control, which it didn't come with...grrrrr, but was having issues with the Carefree Awning that was installed on the rig. The fuse on the controller kept blowing no matter what I did. I installed the relays as you indicated and the problem is SOLVED. Lippert One Control support was fantastic, but couldn't get hold of Carefree to save my life. Thank you again for putting this very professional video/solution together!

My Jayco Eagle has the non standard switches. They originally were white and I wanted black ones. I ordered the right ones the first time but I didn't know there was 2 kinds till I saw this video. Good explanation.

@@RVProject I can’t find these part numbers anywhere. All I order come in the “normally ground” configuration. I need normally open.

How annoying. I understand not wanting to design/manufacture a different connector but how are you supposed to know which one it is by looking at it?
