After many years of living with the increasing, crippling pain of rheumatoid arthritis, my wife went home to Jesus, where she no longer hurts. This song was her anthem as she praised His holy name through her suffering. I miss her dearly, but I know God is always good and forever merciful. Praise His name.

I am listening to this song in the middle of the night just pouring out tears. 😢 my heart is so broken. In the last year I have been in a serious head on collision leaving me with a broken neck and back. Then a dear nephew that was close to me took his own life. And if all these things were not bad enough my mother fell and within a month passed away. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to take her off life support. That was the most difficult decision my brothers and me have ever had to make. Oh God, hear my cry and heal my heart. Oh God, heal my brothers’ hearts. Oh God, hear us and heal us. ❤ 🙏

I was raised a Baptist, the Old Fashioned Baptist kind that have an old fashioned altar, have church services that evolve into testifying meetings, with shouting and rejoicing in the goodness of God. But until I heard this song back in 2000 after my little mama unexpectedly passed away, did I consider praising the Lord through the hard times as well as the good. I found that when I do so, if done in the leadership of the Holy Spirit, that it works! I have a friend at the church I now attend that praises Him seven times a day. I haven’t reached seven yet, but I can say that if I start out my day just thanking Him for everything He’s done for me in my life and praising Him for all He’s done, is doing, and is going to do, it has had an amazing, rejuvenating and strengthening effect on my spiritual life! If for no other reason, I will love Sheri forever just for singing and recording this song!❤

Jeremy, I don't think this is just a coincidence that I listened to this song and just happened to look through the replies and came upon this one. God does not work by coincidence, but by reason. It also just happens to be my anniversary date of 10 years sober. I have found the Lord and His promises of an everlasting Spirit that dwells inside me today, and will forever. All things are possible through Christ Jesus. No one person can help you quit drinking unless you have a true desire to do so. I've been through 3 rehabs, and countless AA meetings. I always took the Lord God with me to each one. God has a plan for you, and that is to prosper in all you do. Seek His Kingdom first and these things will be added to you. Today His grace is sufficient for me. Don't worry about tomorrow, for there is enough evil in today. One day at a time. I want you to look up another song by Mercy Me. She is absolutely one of my favorites. This song really is a home run. The last 6 years have been very rough. And now when I have my ex whole family hating and none of my family talks to me since getting out of prison. I'm leaving in Gods hands. I quit drinking 2 years ago and went to Christian rehab. But it seems no matter what I do I'm still the enemy with my wife and her family. So many want to just someone and not look at the good I've done now. A police officer stopped to see if I was ok. He began to tell me of his sorrows he had faced(lost his son etc.). I know God sent him to me and this song! When i lost my third son, i was so inconsolable and felt so cheated and frustrated with life. But i wanted to come back to God and hold on to him in my pain. Me and my wife lost two of our baby girls and this song was one of the songs that my mother-in-law had my wife listen to as she was fixing to deliver our first baby it just ministers to us as well she crossed over to Beulah land in 2016 and actually singing with the Angels and our second baby we lost in 2017 and she is now up there in heaven with her big sissy just waiting for us to cross over Jordan just hold on tight because one day real soon we’ll see our precious babies again if we keep the faith are saved by the blood of Jesus!!

I was listening to JMCIM Praise and Worship song on spotify and when this song came on, I was in tears it's like GOD was the one talking to me, that I am not alone and that Greater is He that us within Me! 💖 I felt healing little by little 💖
