Before i am just watching videos likes these inside my small apartment, then i started dreaming about moving in to the countryside and start a homestead but i can't quit my job not until covid19 opens the opportunity to work from home i quit my office job and become a freelancer who works for a foriegn company. Now, im happy to say that i am living the dream though marami pang kelangan e develop sa land but we are building it! Our dream Permaculture 😊

Wow, ka guapo sa rest house nimo dinha sa Baganihan. Ako na-a pud diyotay sa ibabaw Km. 73 Gambodes. Gipangalan naku BudaPogs ang gate. Tapos na ang balay pero ang ubang amenities atimanon naku pag-uli dinha in my retirement years. Salamat.

Wheere is OG notail?
If you have the funds & resources it is easy to build something like this but maintaining the different villas (good thing it is in one area) you will need to hire or have someone handle it once we get a little older. Aside from that keeping the villas in good shape is another thing that we should consider. Hopefully your children will eventually handle your Airbnb in the near future because it requires time & management. But it is a nice place to retire hopefully people can be inspired by it but I hope you have architects & engineers who handled the design & construction of your property because that should be the first step in designing your villas.

Hello po. This is a not hate comment since I really believe po na there are still things you may not know about Christianity. I was once a Catholic myself from Cebu until I started reading the bible and learning the TRUE commandments of God. As a Catholic before, I never read the bible and so I was clueless about the rules of God. It's so important to know His teachings po because according to Him, if you love HIM you need to OBEY him. But how do we obey if we don't know WHAT to obey? Kaya po need natin basahin ang bible. Andun po lahat ng teachings niya and one of His teachings po is to only follow HIM, only follow Jesus. Wala pong Sto Nino or whatsoever ni inallow ni Lord na sambahin natin. I know you're a good person po pero nakaka lungkot lang na sa altar nyo po una si Sto Nino kesa kay Jesus Christ. I can tell from the way you talk po na napaka peaceful niyo na tao at mabait. Pero please start reading your bible po. Only our belief in Jesus can save us po kasi, hindi po kabaitan or good works. Dont buy property with rights only. There are many properties for sale here with title or tax declaration paper, so u can transfer it on ur name and fully own the property.
Marilog is Ancestral Domain. You cannot get land titles or TCT. Only CADT or CALOM certificates which constitute a lease. After 25 years the indigenous people will not renew the lease and all structures you build are now their property. Republic Act 8371 - You cannot buy, sell, or transfer ownership of ancestral domain lands. Unless these laws are repealed all titled land sold in Marilog are a scam.

It’s a nice place. But that’s not for me. Retirement for me is Adventure. Doing different things all the time. I don’t like to contain myself and my wife in just one place. We’re almost retiring na din naman, but farm and Vila are not for me. I don’t like the hassles and stress. What we’re envisioning as our retirement is to visit the most number of places in the Philippines and other parts of the world. We can stay one week end in Baguio and the next week may be Tagaytay or Cebu. Then special occasion like birthdays, Valentines and Anniversary maybe abroad. Thats our kind of retirement. And praying for it to happen in the next 5 years. I’m 52 now. 🙏👍

you could say that now since youre still young but reality hits you when your in your 60's or 70's specially if you will have some medical conditions and maintenance to take.daily. by then you will simply appreciate the four corners of your home (with some occasional travel of course). You will also appreciate watching the sunrise or sunset and the sweet chirping of birds. Better travel when you're still young and go places you wish to visit.

not in her case, kasi Baganihan area in Marilog, Davao City if you noticed in the background is rolling hills with grassland only. To protect soil erosion, nagtanim po sila ng pine trees sa perimeter and some trees that will provide cover during summer. planting pine trees and hard wood is practiced there kasi nga kalbo na mga mountains due to massive logging in the 50's and 60's.
