I'm starting to like Rich Brian because he is really chill and he basically made himself, I can tell he is very smart and knows right from wrong, he even asked politely if he was able to curse and was respectful to there decision. I'm surprised that he is 18 I thought he was 16 years old. His album is a decent solid album actually its just chill and cool.
interview kinda makes me think about how time can be used. Like how brian used his time not being in school chillin on youtube and chasing interests and making things happen.
justa guy gaming... depends on the kids and the parents though... he just got so lucky he didn't fall into bad things during his hiatus from school... but maybe thats why his parents put him in the house all those time to protect him...
People have their own way to living life. Someone who study at school or college can get a degree and making money from working. Meanwhile the entertainment industry isn't stable and someone who live with it can be easily kicked off from it if they don't have fame anymore. Living with fame is so risky. I'm not saying Brian is wrong for not going to school but you know, this thing happened to the 1:10000000 ratio of people. And Brian is that one person.
I broke my foot some years ago. Had to stay indoors most of the time. Used that time to learn how to jailbreak iPhones. Then to root android phones. Then consoles, laptops, etc... free-time is a great way to pick up and learn different things. AMD this kid used it to his advantage. Truly is a self made man
Honestly I wished Big Boy did more research on Rich Brian. Since, Rich Brian already answered about the n-word, and he never used the n-word after Dat Stick. He also interrupted Brian a decent amount, when I just wanted to hear more about Brian's story. Big fan of Big Boy's interviews, but he gotta stop interrupting people, do more research, and let the interviewee's answer/talk more.
Dang the mood got so intense when big boy asked about the N word and when he straight up said he didn’t like him saying it and then asked “are you gonna keep using it?”lmao but it felt more like a dad talk. Great interview son!
his parents probably that type with that philosophy which is "as long as you can read, write, and know numbers" you can focus on what you good at and be a master on it as long as it is positive and doesnt destroy yourself... or they already have a family business so he could just learn the wisdom of trade and he is good to go...
The n-word aren't something that usually heard by the Indonesians. we just know it's a way to call a man with a dark skin tone from the internet culture. Most of the Indonesians have a dark skin, tho. So, it's easy for us to say that because it's so popular although that's a very negative word (and we don't actually know if it's bad).
@@Piyuu68 are you indonesian? If not , theres an island called papua and most of people there pretty dark but not like tan, so some of us just call them nigga and it is joke, but we dont really know the history about nigga (sorry if my english is bad)

Peace
There is a lesson about school sometimes distracting us from things that interest us, that we should focus on, in Rich Brian‘s story. He’s smarter and more ambitious than most, but yeah, very inspiring.
Im from indonesia... And before rich brian i didn't even know the n word is bad.... I used to call my dark skin friend the n word because i though it was cool.... But when i know what it mean i feel bad and never use it ever again.....
The interviewer said about stabbing in the neck. Go to Indonesia, please, and repeat wat u said. Bronx or any other city in the US that have large crime rate or gang related crime is nothing, i mean nothing, compared to the bronx alike in Indonesia. Small example: when u r kidnapped today by saying what u r saying about stabbing in the neck to other people, u disappear, nobody hears from u and about u again, not even by the local authority. He is a ethnic minority that is oppressed and descriminated by the government and by the local majority, the same happens as the african american. Read about 1998 riot in Indonesia, where the minority ethnic genocide and rape happens, over 5000 death. They rape and kill the minority infront of their own family. His skin tone might be different but what his ethnic group been thru about the descrimination is the same, u can hate him by using the N word, but remember that local Indonesian are dark skin too, he said those words when he is very young age and naive, im sure he doesnt mean and understand the real N word is, because of the huge cultural differences, in Indonesia they dont understand the real N word means, for them its mainly refers to ethnicity like javanese, sundanese, and hundred plus more ethnic groups in the country. To be fair, please critizes the people thats said those word too, where there is other than african american says the N word, eventho it is a comedy movie to be fair. Say that stab in the neck too.
I wanna say the same tho but nah the guy over here got the point but bit offended. I thought that this interview was great 😉 chill bro it just the way they're joking
I think parts of the interview were lost in translation if you think Big Boy was serious about stabbing him. He would never say something like that and mean it seriously. And if he did, he would never say it on the radio for everyone to hear him threaten Brian. Also, there are parts here in the U.S. where people disappear as well for talking about stabbing in the neck. Sometimes they disappear for saying something that's not as serious as stabbing. Violence is everywhere in the world. Interviewer doesn't hate Brian for using the word. He wanted to understand Brian and the reason he used the word.
Hey.. this radio personality is so friendly sounds welcome👍👍 I’m originally from Bogor West Java indonesia but um I have been living in Perth Western Australia for 20 yrs.absolutely I’m proud of rich Brian as a young role model for young generation Indonesian. Go bruh👆✌️🙏👏
Big boy you need to upgrade the guest microphone!! Every time the guest talks no matter how close they are I have to turn up my volume.... however with your mic I can here you clearing whenever you say a word softly lol come on man !!! Thanks for the great video
yes big boy shouldn't attack him like that. brian felt uncomfortable after that question but still trying to be professional to answer questions from him. i know it's a sensitive stuff but that problem was so yesterday you know what i mean jeez
him getting harassed like that made the video a distasteful, I saw an interview where Tyler the creator was okay with people saying niggah and he also spoke about how some people are caught in their small bubble. If a white guy like 69 can say it then he can say it too and just because he's a minority here doesn't mean you make him feel like a minority like how the white people treated you.
Brian himself probably understand why the n-word is hurtful to some people. He is a minority in his own country and his people often become a target of open racism (no sjw culture here) and fear mongering. I remember in his interview he tried to justify it by saying he tried to "took the power of the word" which came from his idol, tyler (im certainly sure it's a reference). He doesn't understand lol and make his second mistake. I think just because tyler and other young black guys are saying it's okay to say it , it doesn't mean other black people won't be offended.
he doesn't want to mock black culture... he said once that he was naive and tried to take the negative power out of the word idk exactly how he meant that but his intentions wasn't bad... he was just a little kid back then and everyone does mistakes. The important thing is that he learned out of them.
I MET BIG BOY AT JCOLE CONCERT IN INGLEWOOD AND HES DOWN TO EARTH. BTW THE MANNER IN WHICH HE CONFRONTED BRIAN ABOUT THE SITUATION OF USING THE N WORD WAS MATURE AND RESPECTFUL, AS EXPECTED.
realjaybag people here stop watching american music video... cause its too burdensome to do censor on those... especially after that minaj and grande came out... :)) its just as good as just listening to the song on the radio...
No attacks. Just trying to understand Brian's thought process. It's better to ask than to assume and that's what Big did. He asked Brian, got an answer then moved the interview along
Expecting anybody outside of America to understand the complexities of the N-Word is just ridiculous. To hold them to an politically correct right-wing strict standard is even more ridiculous. Especially when you have black folks arguing back and forth about the seriousness of the actual "bad" word in question!
