I do agree with you, but its in a different presentation, its help for the developer to get a higher stage, better sound, nice edit and a good show! If you don't like it, you can always watch something else.
They're some of the few to do any real updates and support of their products. Even the poster child Heatblur and their F-14 have many things wrong with it that will most likely never be fixed because they got their money and could care less. Particularly those who work on trying to build texture for it will understand what I'm talking about.

Heatblur never rushes and always makes quality modules while Polychop, even after many updates, they were still unable to improve the flight model of their Gazelle. Therefore, I deeply doubt that their new Kiowa will be better. The problem is that these developers do not understand the physics of helicopter flight at all.
Congrats to HIP for a great interview. Congrats to Polychop for such a great explanation of what their Kiowa Warrior will be capable of. I like how you guys function and look forward to this module. I'm very happy the Gazelle got updated recently. It shows that your company cares about the people who fly your modules.

I'm really impressed how they came back from the bad reputation and now redeemed themselves with new flight model for the Gazelle. It flies amazing and feels like it would in real life in regards of torque to weight ratio, an agile and nimble but fragile helicopter.

@@zknarc It's dcs, what were you expecting. You're getting what you paying for, which is incredibly detailed and high quality. If you don't want to or can't afford it, don't buy it. There are also many msfs addons which are just as expensive if not more expensive.
Day 1 purchase for me. My plans are to fly the helicopter and use the module a lot, but even if I weren't going to fly it, I would still buy it simply to support finished projects like this one. Bravo Polychop! and thanks Andrei for another great interview. Keep it up!
Wow, I never would've guessed there were only 3-5 people making the Kiowa given the appearance of the module. Also really appreciate them coming onto here to answer these questions.
The Kiowa sounds exicting. I think it´ll really shine once the dynamic campaigns are out. With a dynamic combat scenario a scout like this will be a key ellement for planing a strike
In Jane's Longbow 2 Kiowa was as much fun to fly as the Apache. And you got more points if you flew missions with it rather than the mighty Apache. Looking forward to this module.
There is no other DCS TH-camr that does such quality interviews! This is high production and the sound, the music and setting are amazing. ED you should notice HIP more. This channel will eat everything up

I have worked on a radio station and I have turned stuttering sighing endlessly pausing speakers into such coherent talkers that they themselves can hardly believe it! But no, I trust that Polychop crew needed no sorcery and are just natural at it. ;)
Great indepth interview, loved the footage especially with the Kiowa and Gazelle together. A rare aircraft the RCAF actually used, the CH136 Kiowa (OH-58A) or at least a version of it.
@@BTKCuk I'm guessing it's kind of on the back-burner until the dynamic campaign and all of that gets fleshed out. If I had to guess, based on how ED does things, I would assume that the AI and pathfinding will probably all get a pretty significant bump in terms of being smarter to work with the dynamic campaign, and then once that's done they will be able to work on making the Combined Arms stuff more engaging and fun beyond just kind of feeling like you're just driving around with some weird HUD on the screen. I would guess that the CA stuff is probably going to be a pretty cool part of the functionality of the dynamic campaign.

They really sound like they have done their homework here, so I feel like we should receive a module that is as close to complete as possible, which is awesome. I'm not going to lie, I'm starting to become jaded on the early access scene. I do try to support ED as much as possible.
The kiowa is definelty my number 1 aircraft coming out this year. I own all the helicopters in the game and mainly fly helicopters in dcs. I'm also very excited for the Chinook, but kiowa is still definelty on top.
Great interview! One thing that is always of interests from a single player perspective: Will there be missions/ campaigns that go beyond training missions at or near release?
So glad to have been part of the Kiowa Warrior IRL, was such an amazing airframe that did its mission and more… also if this doesn’t have different shades of dark colored spray paint on the leading edge of the blades then it’s not realistic enough😂😂😂
Great interview Andrei, these guys are passionate and I am ashamed to admit, I doubted them and thought the Kiowa was going to be vaporware. I am so glad to be wrong! I am a little bemused why everyone is so against Early Access, as long as the dev is up front that the module is EA, I would rather have the module to play rather than sit and wait, and wait, and wait.
Intriguing to be sure. Watching the video makes me wonder if any of the DCS Helicopters can practice autorotation. If the engine dies does the crew share the same fate or do they have a chance? Btw, what is the max altitude? Great interview, thanks Andrei 🙂
The Kiowa is a must have for me as a Jane's Longbow II Fan. Also the Movie Airborne (1990) Now all that's missing is a UH-60 Black Hawk Module from ED and the Trio is Complete! Either way, I'm buying all the Rotor Modules for DCS World. 2024 is a very good Year for Rotor Heads. 😎
Man alive this year is gonna hurt my wallet as I'm a rotor head and a sucker for new terrain, and I just upgraded to a Winwing HOTAS and Pedal setup. Oh well, can't take the money with me when I die.

I want the Afghanistan map for my A-10CII with a controller and F-16 and even buy the AH-64D or F-15E! I want this to be my main map with everything I do!
Wondering if I will be able to use my VR Quest 2 controllers to grab and use the cyclic and collective in game. I know I can flip switches and turn dials now but currently I can not grab and use the controls in the Gazelle. I hope they will both become more user friendly to us VR control users.
I know I should be excited about the actual heli, but being able to shoot an m4a1 while flying the heli???? Idk why, but that’s what’s got me hooked right now😂

The early access bit was very interesting. I think EA has its pros and cons, it can be great for the industry but I feel that at times it has been abused and gives it a bad name.

This module is insane!
Polychop has had such a redemption arch with their willingness to improve the Gazelle, I'm tempted to buy their products just to support them.
They're some of the few to do any real updates and support of their products. Totally agree. DCS would be such a better place with a bit of investment in CA, it's fallen by the wayside in the last few years.
