The sprayer system operation you talked about in the video was most interesting. This Raven system is doing a great job and saving a lot of dollars on chemicals. The cost is paying for itself in savings on chemicals.

@user, the reason i spell G-d this way, goes back a long way. If you were to read a jewish Torah, you would see they spell it the same way i do, and it's because it set's the true living G-d apart from all other spelling's of god whether good or bad. I am a christian with jewish heritage, one being joseph of arimathea who took Christ off the cross and put Him in the sepulchre. Joseph is my 261st great grandpa. Sorry if you felt offended, but now you know why i spell G-d this way, to honor Him.

I think the opening sequence of the night time spraying was sooooooo cooooool. That is something one never sees in farming. You are a wonderful farmer who thinks into the future. Hope you got some rain from the Cali hurricane. My wife and I are praying for some rain for your farm.
Their drone shots have always been epic.
This needs to be featured in Farm Sim!

*- Your sprayer arms are way stronger, float up and down quickly when needed very well, and use one tenth the chemicals when the opportunities present...AND looks wicked cool at night.*
*- And you assembled the parts and pieces yourself so you got away from a factory build cost.*
*- What is not to like?*

1st I'll say I wish I would have had that tech when I was spraying commercial 40 years ago. Just the time saving from the reduced number of loads is enormous.2nd If the electric draw is that high. It's probably time for either a second alternator or a very large single. In the long run the double setup would prove cheaper to maintain. Keep up the great camera work and look forward to the next video.
No where else on You tube can I see amazing sunsets and original cinematography. Been working on second cutting of hay all day. Happy to see a Welker farms video.

That is top notch cutting edge technology. Too bad local fertilizer companies do not offer that but then again, they would go out of business. You should start up a dealership and rake in some extra cash. No doubt you would be nation wide. Thank you for taking the time in editing videos to bring us into your farming operation and life.
I am absolutely excited you are getting to use Big Brute as intended. Nick the smile on your face is like a little kid in the candy store. I think Weed-It should refund your purchase price in exchange for the top notch advertising you are doing. The lights really demonstrate the cost savings possible with the Weed-It system. Hope yall get to enjoy the shows and have an exceedingly abundant harvest.

Nick you always have some of the best drone shots of machines in motion, but those night shots without the headlights and you could see the nozzles fire off are absolutely incredible. Hands down one of the coolest sequences I've seen. If Weed-It doesn't use some of that for advertising, their marketing people need fired.
It's always been Nick's favorite sprayer. Now he's turned the Big Bud into a Super Hero Sprayer. Very Nice for sure .

Those night shots of Brute with the WeedIt are the coolest you've ever shot. That is just amazing to see the nozzles take turns firing with those red and blue lights. Awesome job!
Oh boy another intro HIT!!! Drone have been so great for the stories you tell along with the amazing scenery and powerful music to finish it off, Kudos to the camera operators, the editors, every time I start a new video it feels like the start of an epic movie in which it is, another thing is the pride you all show in every move you make on this farm, I would absolutely love to just drive by and see it real time but won't I suppose it could get to be a nuisance people wondering around, I live in western Washington and at 70 have never been to Montana, I'll bet the sky is just filled with stars and the Milky Way great for a photographer, keep up the awesomeness Welkers✌

The night shots and the drone shots are fabulous!! I REALLY enjoyed them. Some wonderful views there. I was extra interested in the slo mo that showed the pulsing of the spray jets. THAT was really revealing. Seeing Big Brute comin cross the field after too many beers could put a drinkin man on the wagon. Could cause me to lose control trying to get MY camera out in time. Great video, thanks again for all your work getting this done and out for us. I appreciate it.

I'm retired from trucking and farming now and have become a huge fan of this channel and farming simulator. I'm quite disappointed that they don't have a bigbud sprayer with the weedit system.

Golly don't know how to express this but your drone shots are pure art. Especially the night clips. Sure hope there will be a video set up at the Farm Show to give folks an idea of what they are missing if not subscribed. The amount of chems not being used will even impress the enviro crowd. Nice night shots. Really shows how many hours you really put in being a farmer. Everyone forgets that during the summers up there it stays light till 9 pm or later so to get those night shots it must have been really late.
It might be time to either up the amperage of the alternator on the brute or double up on them to help since there is a lot of power draw running all of the technology.
This is so incredible, this is a win for all of us. Healthier food, better for the environment, im just thrilled to see this tech finally being used. I can't wait until its used everywhere.
I’d love a dedicated video about your results with the new system. Overall effectiveness, daytime vs. nighttime application comparisons, how much acreage per tank compared to before, etc. Cutting edge tech is cool but hearing data from a dealer vs honest farmers could be different stories.
Night-time typically a bit better than daytime. Liquid usage per acre depends on amount of weeds in the field, if you normally spray at 10gal acre for 100% coverage if the weedit is only spraying 10% you are using 1gal acre.
The weedit and Weedseeker systems typically have a hard time picking up weeds below the size of a quarter.

Out of the entire TH-cam farming family that is every channel included I've got to say you have got the best drone videos or drone shots, and how this video is you got the best sprayer on TH-cam.
On my way home in the dark, i saw a farmer spraying his potatoes. His sprayer had blue light in the back. But not on the booms. He was probably spraying against late blight so didn"t need them on the booms. I had to think right away on your system. A marvelous way to save a lot of money. And it looks great to in the dark. Cris Martin (coldplay) sang just "fix you"". Very clever you guys did fix it. You (Nick) look like Cris Martin btw. And fix you will be for legarms. Blessings i wish you all. Great to see the kids so now and then. They grow so fast, wow. See yah!

That whole segment did my heart good. Intelligence on parade, what a great spray system. And why not.
A few thoughts and questions:
1) how long do weed seeds lay dormant before they germinate and produce NEW weeds?? If you spray one year with this system, will dormant seeds germinate next year??
2) given the product application saving you project, How long til your investment cost in this system is paid off??

The Brute looks like a space ship at night, that's nuts, I love it.
Wow. The night shots really show how the spot spraying works with turning the nozzles on and off. Great way to show how the tech works with the lights you chose.
If you can somehow flip the sprayer nozzles up in the air, the big brute can then give the Bellagio foundation in Las Vegas a run for it’s money.. Maybe on the way back from the farm progress show the big brute can take a detour to Las Vegas for a photo shoot session in front of the Bellagio fountain 🤔. Big Brute’s stage name can be Bellagio Junior.
OMG the only thing is missing it two white strobes on the chip ends of your sprayer and a mirror ball on your roof. And of course the disco music is up to you.
I have to say that’s the most impressive machine I’ve ever seen with the cost of everything going up and how much you saved it’s a no brainer
To think a couple farm boys just making a sprayer for them selfs and one of a kind that's now famous and getting hauled off to shows. Bob should be proud of what that farm has done. Good job amd great footage thanks.

Saving so many nasty chemicals out of the environment not only saves money but it saves everything else. That is a win for everyone involved. The generation 1 laser cameras were used un food and product packing. We installed a system for Nabisco lunchables when Kraft bought them out.

What an excellent video, the lights on the spray, showing the weeds getting blasted,is very impressive. The expense for building the spray will soon pay for itself, in the saving of chemicals.
You should have a mix tank for your spare product then you can offload what you didnt use for later use. Throw a small solar operated pump/mixer on it to give it a stir once a day if there is product in it or something.

Mr. Welker, I am writing on behalf of my wife who teaches at a private school in Lesburg ,Florida were she teaches computer science, okay so you may say. She has to write her own curriculum and we have been faithful watchers of the Welker Family Farms video's. She teaches K -8th grade and we watched the start of the "new tech" spray system....WOW. I suggested that she show the first field video's to her class of 8th graders to show them were computer technology was just more than doing spreadsheets in real world application's that effect farming. Needless to say her class of 20, had no idea of what thery were watching, two students were close in guessing something to due with fire. They were awed by what they were watching computer/tech and how this is applied to farming. Thanks again for the chance expose young minds to a ever changing computer word that just isn't "business word". You never know when you post a video as just who is watching. God bless the Welker family with safety and good health from central Florida veiwers.
