__________ There's no such thing as a "true fan". Stop using that to make yourself seem superior. You aren't superior because you like underrated songs. Get over yourself.
I never really gave Tre Cool the credit he deserves as a drummer until just now. I really deeply listened to the drum patterns and he is one fucking awesome drummer! I love this band!!
He's like the drummer from acdc, no mindblowing chops but he does keep the tempo like not all drummers can, that's the point of being a drummer. Plus he plays with acid on his organism every time (not true but sometimes...) I give him a lot of credit and still is a huge influence on my drumming
He's a pretty technically impressive drummer. While a lot of the "core" GD drumlines are similar, they're all fast, and often interspersed with a lot of impressive fills.
this album is the greatest thing they ever produced. so diverse and touches on so many aspects and genres of music, including the punk rock they're known for, pop, ballads, ska, etc.
orbitable Great, Legendary, but arguably not the "Greatest". American Idiot is arguably their greatest album they produced in terms of the number of hits it contained, being iconic to pop culture at the time, and the sheer originality of the content of the album. BUT, I will say, 21CB definitely deserves the title great, and definitely is among the best. But then again, I'm a superfan and obsessed with this band, so I am nobody to be talking. Because I literally love every song written by Green Day lol.
This absolutely blew my mind! I never heard before today and it is incredible! A mad rush to the head of extraordinary music and lyrics. I'm a latecomer to Green Day, but each song I find my respect and admiration for them grows. This is one song on perma repeat! Bravo!!!!!!
This and Viva La Gloria Little Girl are my favorite songs from the album, maybe my favorite songs by Green Day. This album is one of my favorites by Green Day ever!! I love how they experimented with this album. Amazing!!
am I the only one who loves vendetta part? idk why but I love that part and I always have to go looking for this song to find those parts because I always forget which song it's from
+Allison Kirkpatrick- Both have a fast tempo and the guitars in each song sound somewhat similiar. That is likely why you related "Peacemaker" to "The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage."
When I ripped this CD onto my PC, the track was scratched so it kept skipping every so often or repeating the same lyrics. To hear the non-corrupted version of the song is now strange.
Alex FRD: i once had a George Strait chorus of "my only bad habit is you" turn into "my only bad bad bad bad bad bad bad habit is you". 20 miles outside of Vegas with 2 days of "the habit" in my rearview. I had to pull over, I was laughing so hard.
It is weird how you can attach things to a song. To me this song always makes me think of the mange/anime series Black Cat The reason is I was binge reading through the series with what few songs I owned at the time on shuffle and this song seemingly played often.
+Enon Z it's called Peacemaker for irony. It's about violence on a world political scale: "death to the infidel, vendetta (revenge), war will divide us, standoff of Molotov cocktails". There's a lot about violent religion. That's why on the album it came after East Jesus Nowhere.
Are you the real BJA? if you are, i love you! You are very talented. I love to sing, and i want to be a singer when i grow up, but people tell me i can't. Is that true?
They don't teach you it, parents hold off from telling us about it, and by the time anyone decides to speak up, we tell them how we've already heard about it from friends lol
most underrated Green Day song ever.
2424Showtime true
Panic Song.
i know right

Have you heard Platypus (I hate you)?
Yes
He's like the drummer from acdc, no mindblowing chops but he does keep the tempo like not all drummers can, that's the point of being a drummer. Plus he plays with acid on his organism every time (not true but sometimes...) I give him a lot of credit and still is a huge influence on my drumming

and your opinion about the song?

This is probably one of the best Green Day songs there is, in terms of versatility.
+Derik S. Yeah the album wasn't near as solid as American Idiot but this was a stand out.
Well it’s my favorite. Holiday is my 2nd favorite
I drink from a well of rage
I feed of the weakness with all my love

My favorite part is at the last time Billie Joe sings "seranade" and he seems to make you think that it was the song end but it actually isn't 3

This reminds of The Only Difference Between Suicide and Martydom is Press Coverage by PATD. I'm not even sure why
"A Molotov cocktail's on the house" is top tier wordplay
❤❤❤love this song ❤❤❤

how?
Omg, I'm not the only one!
NightRavenHD |VFX & Montages| Maybe because of the violins? Idk, but what i do know is that the violin it is pretty badass here xD
Paulo Jara Rodriguez
Yeah probably.
+Allison Kirkpatrick- Both have a fast tempo and the guitars in each song sound somewhat similiar. That is likely why you related "Peacemaker" to "The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage."

I love how Billie says serrrra...NADE. ♥
The magic moment when you pause youtube so the music app stops being paused and the instrumental just goes on like if you did nothing
This is the coolest song ever. Way too obscure. Makes my blood pumped.
I love this song
Thanks :3
It's still a mistery for me why they didn't released this as a single
Who here likes green day?
omg i love you xD GD+ MCR FOREVER!!!
2:13 through 2:16
For me the song starts out low. But wherever I'm at I'll just play that part full blast
his voice at 3:03 though
I cannot believe this album is already 13 years on- time is an elastic thief
surprising that there is no one that disliked it(;
0:00
Awesome intro ^^
2:13 best part
Awesome song! =D
I LOVE this song for a great sound, but can anyone explain to me what the hell is it about???
+Enon Z it's called Peacemaker for irony. It's about violence on a world political scale: "death to the infidel, vendetta (revenge), war will divide us, standoff of Molotov cocktails". There's a lot about violent religion. That's why on the album it came after East Jesus Nowhere.

やっぱかっこいいねぇ
Are you the real BJA? if you are, i love you! You are very talented. I love to sing, and i want to be a singer when i grow up, but people tell me i can't. Is that true?
Someone needs to make a mashup of this and Fences by Paramour.
It reminds me of old cowboy movies, I don't really know why but its still a great song.
Legend
Ooohhh Billie joe it's a great songwriter ! i admire him sooo much for that!
OOooooH Billie Joe is a great musician! He's just awesomeee!!!
green day are now bona fide rockgod superstars...and deserveably so...they craft perfect punkrock music.
Vendetta, sweet vendetta.
Italian pride.
what album is this?
3:08 sera
NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This sounds like a song scooby doo would use for one of those chase scenes.
They don't teach you it, parents hold off from telling us about it, and by the time anyone decides to speak up, we tell them how we've already heard about it from friends lol
tht would be amazing
my childhood *wipes tear
Oh yes. This is good.

@ weedleOnFire
Dude, calm down. He forgot to click space. Its a typo. GOSH!
*Long instrumental*?
You haven't heard the solo at the end of "Fade to Black" by Metallica have you? xD
Dan Griffin : his point, in context.
