This scuffle between McGrady and Casiano happened in 2003. After that, in 2004 Olympics in Athens, Eddie Casiano got his payback. He torched the team USA (with Duncan, Lebron, Wade, Iverson, etc) making 18 points off the bench almost not missing from the field. I think he had a beef against team USA. He got even!!! Richard Jefferson, a current ESPN host, should remember very well the beating Casiano and Puerto Rico gave to his team in 2004.

I’m Puerto Rican and can confirm that Eddie Casiano is one of those kind of troublemaker type players. He’s good, he’s PR best ever SG, but he was trouble like think Draymond Green or Ron Artest or Latrell Sprewell or somebody like that. Just always causing trouble or problems. He’s a head coach now and actually just pretty much instigated a fan riot in a PR league game like 2 days ago actually lol
That being said, Casiano and Carlos Arroyo and Larry Ayuso and the rest of the PR team gave the US team THE BUSINESS in the Olympics in 2004 and beat them down by 19 points. That was one of the greatest days of my life as a Puerto Rican. I was 15 and remember it vividly to this day almost 20 years later.
