It's because the show itself is much more theatrical. It looks so epic I was amped when she said it'd be on the big screen.

I don't know if the movie was planned or not. I kind of think not. I feel like the tour did so much more than expected in every way that she decided to do it. But then again she is a brilliant business Woman. She has her own production company. Everyone knows 13 is her favorite number and she was born on Friday the 13th. The adult prices are 19.89 like you said, the children's price is 13.13. Those are for regular seats. At some theaters it is playing on Imax which is only $6.00 more and other non regular seats. Taylor tweeted out to dress up, bring your friendship bracelets and sing along to every song. It is going to be a madhouse! I doubt any film could play at the same time hers is because it would be too loud. At some places it is thru the month of October so far and others just the first weekend. It only plays Fridays thru Sundays.
