(also super proud of him for picking a degree that isn't artistically involved like most idols cause you can do music and be a performer and study other things you might have interests in or want a different career after idol life is over)
I think some idols choose practical majors like Business management because if they ever end up disbanding (god forbid) they want to have a backup plan. Sounds reasonable to me!
It's because his father told him to study first then said he can do whatever he want after got his degree at university, his parents taught him really well 😇
When I first got to know them I really tried to call him YoungK but calling him Brian sounds so much better and more comfortable. Well guess what BRIAN? I will call you Younghyun... because i'm a sucker for Dowoon saying Younghyunie hyung and gosh i love this adorable bean and crackhead.
hana akimmy so basically Brian is YoungK’s official English name with which he went by when he still lived in the USA. And I think before DAY6 officially debuted he still introduced himself as Brian which is why fans also call him Brian. And now since his official stage name is YoungK...Brian is either used because we are used to it or just to tease him because he also sometimes let that name slip and introduces himself as Brian nowadays

At first Jae was my bias, when I mainly knew about him and not as much of the other members. But then I started to pay more attention to Younghyun in videos and then I realized he is actually one of the most annoying ones in the group and with that he became my main DAY6 bias lol. Joking aside, though this is still half true, Younghyun also became my bias and someone I admire because of his ability to write so many amazing lyrics that can touch our souls. He is also a well rounded musician, jaw-droppingly talented and skilled singer, and one of the coolest looking bassists I have ever seen. I feel like JYPE don't even realize what kind of a treasure they have from all of k-music industry and yeah I might be biased but it is true that neither him nor DAY6 is appreciated and recognized as much as they should be. However, we are slowly getting there and MyDays will forever keep supporting them. I'm honestly so glad that I found DAY6 or perhaps their music found me and healed me. And that's partly thanks to Younghyun's lyrics. So I will be forever thankful to him and the whole band. Happy birthday to our foxy dork, Kang Not-Brian Younghyun. 💖
