Once again I must say, I enjoy listening to the sound of the steel band music, especially when the band is playing a tune I can identify with.. If a band is playing a tune I cannot identify with, I become like a lost sheep in Babylon, I can only listen and enjoy the sound of the pan/instrument.. At this year’s panorama three songs were played the most, but my favorite was “Garbage Bag” played by the Renegades Steel band. Each night leading up to the panorama finals, I would visit the pan yard just to listen to the tune being played over and over, as it takes control of my body… at times the music can only be described as being orgasmic.. Based on face expressions, and body gyrations, I sense everyone was also enjoyed the music.. Congratulations fellas..
What ah Band What an arranger What an Arrangement No pan Is lonely in this band. No instrument is boring in this band. The Arrangement of the bass awesome, the guitars amazing the four pan, the percussion specific and precise I will be happy playing any instrument in this band. I am sure I will feel like my pan is the leading pan in this band Amazing! Look at Renegades consistent layout every style of pan they have is in the front row.
