For me, this reading feels a lot like a huge confirmation because I've been letting my family misgender and deadname me just so they don't have another "problem" to deal with. And I have all the symptoms. I thought I was okay because I wasn't throwing up or starving myself so I never thought that I had a "problem" It really has shaken me to be honest but now that I am aware of the symptoms I can talk to professionals and work on it. Thank you for being vulnerable and talking about this.
I had struggled with eating disorders also n had worked with professionals n was given tools. Once in awhile I find myself trying to reach out for those coping issues, thankfully they no longer feels like a part of me anymore. Thx for sharing ur personal experience. I was just a lil girl at 4 when I was being sexually abused n became bulimic around 7 yrs old then for yrs until I had learned how dangerous it had become. I had lost a dear friend from this disease.
