Also, Patrick said in an interview that 'Thnks fr th mmrs' was a whole completely different song from what they had in mind when they worked with Babyface. Babyface produced this song that's why it has more variety than a simple pop punk song. It's not that the meaning is lost but their original conception for this song may have been buried with all the r&b and string influence that even Pete won't remember what the song originally meant.
