I’m not religious at all these days, but I remember years ago when I was growing up, we had a vicar at our local church who was the kindest and most spiritual person I’ve ever met. He didn’t preach at you at all, but every time you spoke to him, it felt like he was channelling a beam of goodness and kindness from somewhere. If anyone could convince me of the presence of god, it was him. Kenneth Copeland, on the other hand, has the opposite effect on me. If anyone could convince me that the devil exists, it would be him. I’m not religious at all these days, but I remember years ago when I was growing up, we had a vicar at our local church who was the kindest and most spiritual person I’ve ever met. He didn’t preach at you at all, but every time you spoke to him, it felt like he was channelling a beam of goodness and kindness from somewhere. If anyone could convince me of the presence of god, it was him. Kenneth Copeland, on the other hand, has the opposite effect on me. If anyone could convince me that the devil exists, it would be him. He honestly must be the most repulsive, evil looking creature I’ve ever set eyes upon. The fact that vulnerable and poor people are putting their trust in him, and giving him their hard earned money, is terrifying and disgusting.
I definitely think there are naïve and too trusting people, maybe sometimes not too bright people, who can’t see through this man.
