Yeah it is maddening watching the tanks speed off on their own and get wiped out. You gotta stick with or just behind the infantry, support them as they push. People misusing the tanks cripple their team.
Great content, @KelsFPS! The atmospheric background music is excellent and really sets the mood. It reminds me of @MoiDawgs' 'Eyes in the Sky' videos for Squad. Keep up the awesome work!
You did really well with this one. The trench warfare at the beginning is perfect, it progresses nicely. You got good scenes and shots and some radio chatter. I never felt lost. I didn't like the music up until around 7:00, because it's too slow for the action. Seems like something you'd play at the end after all the destruction already happened. Good to see you experiment with stuff, like the very unobtrusive intro, keep that will for improvement up
Been wanting to make this comment to all "bird eye videos" out there: You need to "ground the camera" more, in the way that it should look as if there was a camera man behind it rather than a drone engine. Since there's a lot happening in the frame already, try to keep the camera more steady, avoid parallax shots (second 28 for example) and focus on framing the entire action playing with the shot angle to frame further targets. Use panning from an static position instead of doing a camera position translation. Again, there's a lot happening on the shot already, and one's trying to take a peak at details. Having a moving camera both invites a dizzy effect (making you videos a tad bit umpleassant) and confusing the viewer.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm always trying to make things better, and it's not easy flying around with a twitchy camera, but I will try to make things more stable and less dizzying! Cheers
Bro i maybe have a idea for you since nobody is doing your style of recording Squad 44. My idea for you is to maybe have a squad setup with mics and recording the action from a match with birdseye :)
@@KelsFPS Yeah, just the gameplay. The music drastically changes the mood and kinda removes the authenticity as a viewer for me, because music transports a certain mood and it then feels like more like an orchestrated short movie than the natural chaos of pure gameplay. Both has its place but I prefer not to mix it. I hope you get what I mean. If you have fun making some kind of short films out of it or something, then music is great, but in my mind that´s a whole different video category than these birdseye gameplay videos. That woud be a more artistic short film than gameplay video and I would do it as a seperate series. I mean I´m not trying to tell you what to do, it´s just my personal feedback and preference.
I find funny that the game has mild graphics when playing, but when wathing from drone view it is absolutely stunning. Like, it is beautiful in the macro but ugly in the micro
@@KelsFPS It depends on the layer, i don't know what the previous devs made that make this unreal engine appear so underwhelming, the new devs improved it but it still has a lot to become really beautiful. In layers of night or with fog/rain the game looks great
@@igormsh14bidevisualizacoes45 Which team of devs? The original team had the lighting right, then the 2nd team made it a tad worse (I even remember a pinkish sky as one of the layers..big wtf still). Squad 44 is doing things right again, but for the most part the original team is responsible for the content of all the updates being released so far. The latest updates for the most part are all leftovers from back then (minus the greek stuff). I am very eager to see what the SQUAD 44 will do with the Pacific though! It's their first shot at showing professional work.
Dude that guy hip firing an MG-42 is a real chad.
Crazy how good this game can look and people doesnt realize it
Great to see this from a drone view. Shows how vulnerable tanks are without close infantry support.
I wish more people would realise that ingame. And also the insane potential of tanks tfor supressing/pushing an entrenched position
Couldn't agree more!

Simply amazing clip Kels. The music, action, capturing the thrill and dramatic encounters... Brilliant! Hats off pal!
Thank you 😊

Thanks, will do! @Moidawg was definitely a great inspiration for these videos ! I went fot the more cinematic aspect of it
One of the best top down videos I've seen in a while. Really good coordination/teamwork in a regular old public match too
God daim that was EPIC. Great music choice. Didnt know about this game. Was like a movie. Normady invasion...so brutal.
Thanks for commenting. I'm glad you enjoyed it !
The birds eye view gives a great feeling of how the battles are in these big maps. Also it has some company of heroes vibes/flashbacks :)
Good flashbacks indeed 👌 I've had some people think this was an actual RTS game hehe
This is a great format. Keep it up. It's really interesting seeing matches from this perspective
just started playing the game and really enjoying this bird's eye perspective
keep em comin!
I don't own the game - and honestly lack the time to play all the games I already own - but this map is gorgeous.
Very very nice video.
Thank-you! I barely have enough time to edit videos. Let alone play any games 🎮 😴
Good stuff, keep those vids coming! 🙂

5:31 what happened there? didn't the rocket bounce? but then it seems to went through too...
I'm not quite sure. It looks like it bounced, hit the ground behind, and then detonated, damaging the engine

I'm writing it down. It's a great idea 💡 👍
Ever thought of becoming a Sq44 Partner? Regular creator meet ups for content and more :)
Wouldn't even know where to start, haha. I do have 70k followers on tiktok with only Squad44/post Scriptum videos though & and also a tester
Not a fan of the music to be honest. Don´t get me wrong, your music choice was fitting, but I prefer the raw experience and the music!
Thx for the input! Do you prefer no music at all ?

awesome bro
Thanks ✌️
Messed with sound setting, way too much bass and not crisp like in default? Good vid anyhow
🤔 could be an exporting artifact from my editing app. Thanks for pointing it out !
Surprised you haven’t gone past me shouting racial slurs at the noobs on my team via local chat.
😂😂

Yea, like we say, beautiful from far but far from beautiful 😅 but for real my game looks pretty decent in 1st person as well

Yeah 100% some layers are a decade late, hopefully they keep tinkering them
