I was there, it was so exciting ! I've met Ocelote, took picture with him and also have his sign ! Such a good plays of League of Legends, Starcraft and many more games ! The number of audience was OUTSTANDING ! Now we could all see IEM in Poland is ONE of the best ! Great support from crowd, many contests and many prizes ! IMO - The best IEM ever
alright so... I'm from katowice and I hope so badly that there will be more events like this organized in here in the future. and I also hope everyone had as much of a good time participating it this event :) cheers
own3d would probably have the same problems with all that traffic...^^ Also I think you might have heard about the payout problems of own3d so I doubt they'd like to switch ;)
GO wasnt on IEM turnament. "Although there will be a CS:GO tournament in Katowice, it will be run by ESL Poland and is completely independent from the IEM event. And since the ESL does not look too keen on adding CS:GO to the list of IEM games, we may have to wait some more time before the game gets the honor of a major event."
Really? When was the last time a team of those 30% won a major tournament? Or even been in the finals? Or even the semi finals? I think it may have happened once iirc.
The gamergg.. They get a lot of money from sponsor monthly, however tournaments are just for prestige. And there was free entry for this event, so they didn't collect much money from audience.
