The 9-2-0 Dreadnought list had a red splash for the 3rd color on Prismatic Ending and 2 red blasts in the sideboard. There are a handful of impactful 3 drops in the format, but mostly having more answers to a resolved T3feri is a big deal. The mana isn't much worse: trade out an Island and a Tundra for 2 Volcanic Islands. I guess the main concession is missing out on Wrath of the Skies which was already a stretch in a deck that is trying to resolve some impactful 1 and 2 drops (especially post-board).
Not a single moon stompy in the 9-2 or better bracket Yet all the decks covered seemed pretty soft to resolved moon Thanks for the video and the coverage
If i could design a magic card it would be an artifact for 1 mana that said: Artifacts can't become tapped, draw a card at the beginning of your next upkeep. When this artifact leaves play destroy target artifact and you lose 3 life. I have always thought it's a stupid design to not have access to better hate cards vs unfair combo decks like spamming artifacts. There's like a gazillion efficient graveyard hate cards.
What does "artifacts cant become tapped" even mean. Can i not twiddle an artifact to tap it by force? Can artifact creatures not ATTACK or do they just have vigilance. This isn't an effect that wizards would ever print. So either this is just null rod on crack or you're going for something like "artifacts cannot activate abilities that require them to tap" but even then, that's just null rod for one mana with extra text... this design is a MESS...
@ It means you can use Sensei's Divining Top but you cannot tap it. Artifacts can't tap is a pretty simple and absolute rule. That would also include artifact creature tokens couldn't attack unless they had vigilance. The design would be glorious. Finally there would be an actual hate card that's actually efficient compared to a null rod that costs 2 mana which might enter at a point where the game is already lost.
@@Stokkeland23 Artifacts can't tap. You realize wizards has never printed "blank can't tap" on a card for a good reason, right? it's a rules nightmare. Collector ouphe and null rod are NOT unplayable, by any means. Not to mention you're adding an artifact destruction effect ON top of that, so the artifact deck is punished for removing the hate piece that already punishes them, which is ABSURD. Its cheaper than null rod, its got 3 other effects on it, it DRAWS you a card for some reason? This design is insanely cracked and also somehow just worse? It doesnt stop artifacts that dont need to tap, it punishes any artifact creature for no reason, why does it specify TAPPING, it creates a ton of weird ruling situations for no reason. Very few legacy artifact decks are going off turn one, null rod and ouphe costing two are at a fine spot, especially with gsz for the latter.
@@howlingpantera22 Doesn't untap and can't be tapped is the exact same mechanic just reversed. Wouldn't be difficult at all to implement. You're free to not like my imaginary card. Have a good day
@@Stokkeland23 thats a completely different mechanic lmao, doesnt untap means you can tap them once, or untap with other effects, how are you this obtuse?
you did a great job commentating!! really enjoyed it.
Thank you!!! It means a lot

That's a sweet one. I saw a Landstill deck do the same trick
You were great on coverage! The last game of the finals was a banger.
THANKS!!!
Love the commentary on the stream! It was great to hear a familiar voice, and the analysis was on point. Congrats !!
YES SIR! Thanks for letting me know
so fast!!! 😍
... thanks you so much 😊
You're welcome!!
Is any of the on camera coverage on TH-cam anywhere? Great recap.
Great question. I suggest going to ttv cardtitan and find the VODs!
Did you record this right after the tournament? 🙂
Yes :D 4am
But Mr. Ecobaronen, I finished 8-3! I request a re-record with x-3 analysis!
Hahaha, I could see that. Sorry dude, but great job!!!
@@ecobaronenMTG LOL thank you. I lost my top 32 win and in, so this is motivation for next year's X-2 analysis.
Sounds awesome. Look ahead like a champ
19th place here. Delver was awesome, quit durdling around and kill your opponent with insectile aberrations!!!
YOU LOVE TO SEE IT!!! Spotting you on the standings made me happy
Heeyyyy that’s awesome congratulations! Love to see oldies like Delver of Secrets putting up results!
Imagine how fast we started considering delver a throwback card. My beloved insectile aberration :/
@@johnslater154 The guy that lost to the guy 19th place in the 11th round. Delver confirmed dominated the nondelver mirror.

You missed my 4x Gamble spice in my Painter list! It’s the best card in the deck, in my opinion.
Ah crap, I sure did. Sorry about that and congratz on the sweet finish + tech!!!
Looks like frog is not the problem
Content creators and inbred mtgo data is the problem. 😂
No. People were teched up to their ears with SB against frog decks
Frog -> no tempo with lightning bolt -> ancient tomb domination
@@MisanthropicCurmudgeon didn’t see mystic forge having much sb.
@@tgworks5791because the main deck crushes frog. 🤣🤦♂️

Frog is fine, only combo is maybe playabale.
Combo seems to maybe be playable, yes :D
