Thanks, I will openly admit I had hoped it would be a slightly lower score, but the whole section was harshly marked and I felt he gave all he could so I was very happy with how it went xx
Oh my goodness I literally cried before my test I was so scared he was going to be wired!!!! But he was ace!!! The calming cookies definitely help him xx

Some people use a timer to make sure they are hitting the different sections at about the right time. Also, learning how to stretch him should make him a bit more flexible for your dressage. :)

I think Banksy rather likes doing 3 day events!!! The mini hack thing + the steeplechase before cross country really seems to get him in the zone; and I think it maybe helped you too Tina - to have a specific day dedicated to stressing about your dressage test, but then the rest of the weekend to have fun 😁🥰 And what an awesome crew of groomers you’ve had this time around!

I admire how you do what's comfortable for you and you stick to your good judgement, such as trotting into fences ❤ I used to ride for owners and against my good judgement - i did what they wanted - such as the first owner told me to stop talking to and rewarding the horse which i used to do cross country.... Long story short, the pony i first rode and it's rider after i quit were killed and the second individual i rode for killed her horse. 15 years later I'm back into horses and am ready to say no when they tell me to do something against my good judgement ❤

Tina, I think that you are a really good rider, I truly wish that I had the nerve to ride like you. I am far too old now but, even when I was a young woman I had awful balance and no courage. I never learned to jump because I was so scared of falling off all the time. My very first horse was a Tennessee Walking Horse. He was fantastic, instead of walking trotting and cantering he racked, that is completely different way of going. They are smooth gaits, moving their legs individually. I loved him very much. Tina, I think that you are a really good rider, I truly wish that I had the nerve to ride like you. I am far too old now but, even when I was a young woman I had awful balance and no courage. I never learned to jump because I was so scared of falling off all the time. My very first horse was a Tennessee Walking Horse. He was fantastic, instead of walking trotting and cantering he racked, that is completely different way of going. They are smooth gaits, moving their legs individually. I loved him very much.
