X21 has loads of stops before chester-le-street. Stopping at all stops until chester-le-street black horse (excluding arnison centre) and then as you say, low fell, gateshead, john dobson street and eldon square.
I was there most of the day just sitting on the chairs. By the way, what time did you film this clip? Cause I came in on a 21 aswell. Edit - Nevermind i came in on 6317 at like 12 noon. I realised you were there a lot earlier.
I notice that all but the X12 bus did not observe the stop sign at the exit on your film. I think I was filming that X12 from the other side of the street when the driver noticed me and performed a perfect stop, observe, and continue. You caught me at 08:32. I haven't been to it since it reopened.When i first went to it years ago it was owned by United of which Arriva NE is the successor company,Go North East use to be Northern.
This new interchange may possible affect local businesses along that road too, seeing that less people will be on it therefore less people going to them
Nah m8 it is VERY different to the one we had b4- old one was very dark and dingey but this is very nicely lit because of the windows. Offices are now in the building too which wasn't the case before- they were shops instead I believe. The old bus station was completely torn down as well- it's not just a building refurb, it's a complete rebuild.
@@Jackdo6it still exactly as it was. Just with more lights and glass. you kids wouldnt have seen the older station. Its only the building that has changed. The bus stops exactly as they were from the 70s the forecourt long before that is the same too
@@TruckinAboutWithSteve I have seen the older version... Sure, it's roughly the same layout on the bottom floor plus the bus parking spaces but it's certainly not the same above that. The building itself is new- there is not much you have to debate on this dude. Nice try at using age to make yourself seem more correct though.

The temp high street was an absolute pain for bus drivers. So glad that the station is now open
