We love Imam Hassan(R.A) who had to give up his Caliphate for the sake of uniting the Ummah and to avoid conflict. We love Imam Hussain(R.A) for how he stood up against the evil Yazid and his forces, and our hearts lament as much as yours do on the tragedy of Karbala. Remember those who are martyred in the way of Allah never die, all martyrs are alive in some other form of life which we can't perceive, and Imam Hassan(R.A) and Imam Hussain(R.A) are leaders of all men. There are fringe elements in every sect who misrepresent their sect. You have been brainwashed to hate Sunnis just like most of the Sunnis have been brainwashed to hate Shia. In the battle of Imam Hussain (A.S) there Wahab AlKaalabi & his wife & mother, Christians whom fought for Imam Hussain(A.S) also imam Hussains Companion John who also A Christian, then after the battle, The Christian whom heard the call of the Imam "oh people isnt there anyone to aid me?" he canceled his marriage and went rushing to karbala yet reached late when the battle was over, at Syria the Father of the Syrian Church paid all he had to have the head of the Imam at Church for a day and he wiped the blood and sand from it and kept weeping to him and god asking what went wrong with the world, then the Roman ambassador at Yazids court whom rebelled against Yazid at the sight of the Imams head, and so on,, it is also mentioned in the Bibble "Hossana in The Highest" = Hussainah in arabic ,a prayer by Prophet David weeping for forgiveness in the name of the Martyr of Euphrates as mentioned in the bible also, thus we as muslims we respect Christians alot for their stands in the Imams Story.

Being a christian I have so much of respect for Imam Hussain ( PBUH). The strength and courage he had to show people the right path was incredible! It's so heart breaking to see what happen to his followers and his family!
But the sister of Imam Hussein stood before the tyrants and said to them, “Why do you erase our memory? Even if you kill us, God will make a place for us in this world and the next.” And here now we find the mother of Hussein, peace be upon him, and his family are the victors. The crucial questions that shows all is:
Why Shia call after imam Hussein and not his brother Imam Hassan? The answer is because Imam Hussein married a Persian princess and Not Imam Hassan.
Morality: Shia are still having the grieving of losing the Persian Empire and the Zoroastrian (Fire worshipping) doctrine. They hide their evil plan under the fake love of Imam Hussein and not Imam Hassan.
That's why you find them repeating: YA HUSSEIN AND NOT YA HASSAN AND HUSSEIN.
Also, the real Muslims, they call only after the help of ALLAH and not humans even if these humans are prophets (peace be upon them) or some high rank Muslims.
ALLAH ALONE. It is clearly said in the HOLY QURAN Surat Ghafir:60
" And Your LORD said, Call after ME, I will answer you. Those who by arrogance doesn't worship me they'll enter Hell..."
(وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ٱدۡعُونِیۤ أَسۡتَجِبۡ لَكُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ عَنۡ عِبَادَتِی سَیَدۡخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِینَ)
From this verse, we understand that calling after ALLAH is certainly an act of worship to ALLAH that the Shia has arrogantly replaced by calling after Hussein

Imam Hussain installed a red flag drenched in his holy blood for coming generations to differentiate between true Muslims and the false ones. Don’t be deceived by their names, their Namaz Roza Hajj etc.

In fact, virtually every reputable scholar on Shi'ism rejects and forbids self flagellation. Second of all, even if that were not the case, what business is it of yours what people do with their own bodies? If they self flagellate, I may find it distasteful but they are entitled to their self expression. I would advise them against it but they have the right to reject my advice. Frankly, I'd rather they self-flagellate than flagellate someone else *cough* Saudi Arabia *cough*.
