Dionisisdenis they move cards to the hall of fame because they stop certain card design. Molten Giant stopped players from being able tp have a shitload of HP, Ice Block was a permanent secret activating way too many secret cards. It's good that they'll be removed from standard.
Mammoth was my favorite year by far. I love all of the changes you guys are making. I can't wait for all of the new things and I can't thank you enough for keeping this game fun with so many new features. Here's to the longevity of Hearthstone, my favorite game!

I have to disagree with you... I find playing against mill decks to be the absolute worst experience in hearthstone. They have thankfully never been common, but kingsbane mill rogue is a bit too close to a viable deck for my liking right now.
Emerald dream for first one seems pretty much obvious. For the second one I would love to see a Draenei themed expansion as they are my favourite race, like their home world Argus before the burning legion, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. Netherstorm would also be epic, but the general aesthetic doesn’t seem shattered or disordered enough for Netherstorm. It seems more like it would be Dalaran. For the third, could be something troll related, but I’m not all too familiar with their style. My opinion.

Getting an extra turn via invincibility is so valuable that it will be in every Mage deck until Hearthstone stops being supported by Blizzard if they don't do something about it. There's a reason why most decks run it, and it's because it's blatantly broken, limits the design space, has too many synergies and interactions, and isn't exactly a "secret" We shouldn't have to run awful tech cards for a single secret. Eater of Secrets is terrible and won't even be in standard. They'd have to keep reprinting anti-secret cards just to keep Mage down. There's a reason why other card games price extra turns at such a high mana cost, and yet Hearthstone priced one at three mana and it can be drawn and pulled with many different cards. It's time for it to go to Wild.
I have explained this before.This meta the one deck that uses ice block is tempo mage,and exodia but thats rate,and at the point that ice block is activated the tempo mage will have either already won or lost the entire game.Ice block isnt the problem and never was.
Actually, Horror From Beyond, that's something that I wish they would do: include more popular cards from previous sets to replace cards that get moved to the Hall of Fame. Because now, Mage is missing two cards, Rogue is missing one, and Warlock is missing one. It's a quantitative disadvantage.
Considering some of the Outland theories going around and how Medivh(who can transfrom into a Raven) opened up the portal to Outland, it seems quite likely. So the first one could be Zangarmarsh themed and second one is definitively Netherstrom/ethereal based.
Only draw option? You might want to look at the Paladin cards again. Also, Divine Favor deserves to be Hall of Famed, even more than Ice Block. The card is absurdly strong for enabling a cancerous deck archetype to succeed. Mindless aggro shouldn't be promoted in a *card game.*

They're moving it to HOF so they can move it's mana cost back to 20. Players have been wanting that for years because handlock was quite powerful with molten giant and hasn't been a good deck since the nerf to it
1: The Terrors of Terrokar (Arrakoa themed expansion) would make sense considering that they use many different elements of magic. (Void, Light etc.) A curse mechanic; Which gives buffs to a minion at a cost would spice up gameplay for decision making. I’m not even going to attempt to guess the other 2. Took me long enough to speculate the first xD

I'm kind of disappointed of Ice Block being transferred to the Hall of Fame. Honestly Freeze-type Mage decks were my favorite of the last couple years. Hopefully Mage will get some love in the new expansion to make up for this loss.
John Dennis surprisingly it's control deck is very interactive, both standard and cubelock, I mean that's what people complain about right? The millions of doomguards an void lords. More interactive than a freeze Mage and a control warrior.
Any predictions for the new expansions? The second one is definitely based on the Naaru or maybe the Nether Storm zone and it's story line in burning crusade. The first seems to be based off of the night elves or maybe duskwood? The third seems like a tauren or troll type expansion.
Expansion predictions. 1. Emerald Dream (lots of plant stuff in the teaser), 2. Twisting Nether or Outlands (Reminds me of a zone there with purple clouds and bio domes. Can't remember what it's called), 3. Murlocs?
Prediction - First expansion will be based around a small location called Raven Hill, which is almost abandoned village in western Duskwood. Considering the "feel", lore and story behind that place it will be something horror-like, but more with a scary camp stories feel.

Normally the Symbol for the year is related to the first expansion. Any ideas on what it is?
I'm kind of disappointed of Ice Block being transferred to the Hall of Fame. Honestly Freeze-type Mage decks were my favorite of the last couple years. Hopefully Mage will get some love in the new expansion to make up for this loss.

John Dennis surprisingly it's control deck is very interactive, both standard and cubelock, I mean that's what people complain about right? The millions of doomguards an void lords. More interactive than a freeze Mage and a control warrior.
Is the back ground music they used for the expansion retrospect blizzard-self-made / available somewhere?

Any predictions for the new expansions? The second one is definitely based on the Naaru or maybe the Nether Storm zone and it's story line in burning crusade. The first seems to be based off of the night elves or maybe duskwood? The third seems like a tauren or troll type expansion.

Prediction - First expansion will be based around a small location called Raven Hill, which is almost abandoned village in western Duskwood. Considering the "feel", lore and story behind that place it will be something horror-like, but more with a scary camp stories feel.
That reminded me. Where are those designed only for arena cards again?
expansion one: reminiscent of mount hyjal during TBC, second expansion: reminiscent of tempest keep during TBC third expansion: reminiscent of serpentshrine cavern during TBC, if this is the case then my predictions for class specific legendaries to be:
