I agree, I think instead of him losing tentacles over so many waves, On the last island he comes up from the water and you should get to fight him. Maybe they’ll update but I highly doubt it I think when they planned on adding this mode it was purely fan service just to drop him in here to fit somewhere

Idk, the multiplayer looks really repetitive and boring. After a while it will just sit on the shelf. They should’ve added mini games like the other spongebob games had.
I always figured the end of the final island would start an actual fight against Robot Squidward himself. This multiplayer is a disappointment on so many levels
@@GoobertheDog1 3 things, 1, anchor arms Spongebot didn't have much going on, which is probably why he was changed to the climb through him and destroy his brain, 2, squidward is technically attacking with the purple electricity stuff, and 3, I don't mind the music, I think it's fitting, it gives a destroyed feel, like the debris you fight on. Besides, you barley hear the music anyway in combat. Oh and 4, I think it's supposed to be like an arcade beat them up.

That's literally all robot squidward does, that doesn't count as a boss fight or is at all interesting, they didn't even animate an attack animation he only has 4 that I know of 3. I can see why some people like the rock bottom music, that's more of a personal thing 4. Could of at least been interesting
@Seth Mcfarly There's a few sound glitches, the motion and combat can feel "sluggish?" and a bit harder to control, and then there's a glitch that lets you skip to the end of the game from the beginning.
Nicolas Jaramillo that skip glitch should never be patched because for some people who suck a video games need those skip glitched and will try to do those glitches over and over till it works and for speedrunners
@@funni_noises Skipping straight to the last mission without going through the tutorials on how to use most of your abilities, like that would help. Speed runners have already gotten under 2 min 30 sec already so any improvements are from frame perfect inputs which isn't fun.

In my opinion, it would have been neat if they made some stronger versions of existing robots that had a certain nasty trick to it compared to the original, imagine if an upgraded sleeptime had a red light, green light system to their radius.

This game would have been so much more right out of the gate had the devs had more time to continue to work. The lengths that people in companies will go to, to save a quick buck or two. Shame on them.
I think it would be cool if they added a plus campaign where it would add new things such as the old Patrick’s dream, additional phase of robo-spongebob where it would be Patrick fighting him and popping his muscle arms, and other things as well, maybe even after beating the game their would be a cannon in the shape of a glove that would turn into a finger gun and shoot you to glove world to get additional spatulas. The game was rushed and the multiplayer was not great, could be improved.
Love the idea. Were you fight robot swidward. Also maybe they can event a new area based off islands like that and it could be industal island. Were fred is and he wants his legs back from new robot enmays. and end off with a fight agenst robot swidward. And you get to chose between pactric and sponge bob.
That sounds neat, it also would have been cool if they made upgraded versions of existing robots to keep you on your toes, imagine a sleepytime that had a searchlight that was like red light green light, you'd have to stay still while the light was red.
And the people with the rights to spongebob don't have much consideration, they only feel like they want to milk the series for money at this rate, no offense.
Things like random events, special enemies, and upgraded robots the longer you last, also this game session feels to long in my opinion, it would probably have been better to shorten it to perhaps 10 rounds, with a randomized boss being fought at the end.
Kinda like Squidwards and Mr. Krabs fighting animation... besides that, this mode was quiet disappointing. Was hoping for an actual team boss fight, and not just an enemy wave rush mode. It goes on forever and it's just boring. Have we learned nothing from the one bossfight in persona 5? XD Well the game is still young, maybe they will work on some nice upgrades to fix that... and the mr. krabs mission.
I don't care what other people think, this is my favorite video game boss of all time. I think of him as the TRUE villain of Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated. Why? Because he is the source of all the robots and there are scraps of SpongeBot SteelPants as one of the islands.

I'm not sure if you can help, but once played this game showing the end result scores we cannot move on any further in the game, nor get out of the score board.
I just wanna say I'm disappointed. My son and I beat all the levels on multiplayer in hopes of unlocking another level just to find out that you start over. It's like they didn't wanna put in the extra work, I mean even starting everything over just changing the scenery would've been super cool.. OR playing story mode with 2 players would've been really cool too but hopefully the next game will be better :) We love Spongebob anything, kart-racers is fun as well, but again repetitive. Need a fun bikini bottom game.
Platforming, puzzles, and sock hunting were the best part about the game by a mile. The combat honestly kind of sucked, and the battle sequences like the one in the Krusty Krab were honestly just a chore to me. This is nothing but that. No thanks.

Well the campaign runs fine to me you can still get the game the glitches really will only be a problem if you purposely try to do them

They total 26 islands and all wave total are 78 waves with all Islands! But nice job man!
Every time the player dies, it somehow reminds me of GMOD.
I would prefer mini games, like the lights, camera, sponge game had. They missed their opportunity to make this a killer game in 2020
