@@PalmBeachesPaul Wow!! Are you ever wrong on that one! How is this friendly place ever haunted? My wife and I went there frequently and loved the place. But the British Ale!! Where else can you get that wonderful draft? You must not appreciate any of that. You have only confirmed my opinion of real estate people.
@E B because the facade of that bar is actually from London England and the original owners were husband and wife and the husband killed his wife. not only have actual Ghost Hunters made TH-cam videos there and TV shows but it's been local knowledge for years so apparently I know a little more than you about the place.

I agree Paul. You definitely live in paradise! I love Delray Beach. So much so that I bought a condo downtown there a few years ago. (I'm a New Yorker). I always look forward to going to relax in one of the most special places on Earth! Great video! Thanks!

Thanks for the video. I'm considering moving from New York to Florida when I retire. Is it possible to park further away like 6 to 8 blocks in a residential area and walk to the action. I do this in NY all the time and get free parking when I go into the city to see Broadway shows. I don't mind walking. Any city has them. Here is how I look at it you can live in a place like New York or anywhere in the northeast and pay state income tax and still have cookie cutters or could live in Florida with beautiful sunshine no snow and no state income tax

I totally agree, but let's keep it under wraps so it doesn't get out of control and kill the charm! I have lived here almost 17 years and cannot believe the amount of growth (and not in a good way). We now have a chain store on the Ave that is usually found in malls. Urban Outfitters is a great store, but it broke my heart a little when it opened on Atlantic.
$530k is still more affordable than the beach communities near me in Santa Cruz and better taxes. Great option for Californians to still leave near the ocean. :) Great info.
When I lived in Delray Beach, the condo I lived in was nice, but after having 4 different groups to pay for homeowners, plus having people not paying & having an assessment, my payments were as much as a house payment, I ended up moving to Orlando, so I know that real estate is something else, not to mention that when my mom purchased the condo, we payed a good chunk of change, selling it in 2017, because of economics, and the real estate market, I lost my shirt, plus on a drive I took months ago, Doc's was closed for good, but they're lobbying to save the building, I hope they find another place to start back up because they did have good food
I'm really confused by the situation with Doc's! The sign facing Atlantic seems to say it is being refurbished to save historical landmark, but the sign facing Swinton looks like it will be office space. It is such an important piece of historical Delray!! I am one of the residents very against all if the new growth blotting out this foundation on our Village by the Sea!
