Late to the comments, but I absolutely loved your button band story. It was so validating! My ex-husband still laughs about the time I somehow knitted a sweater with TWO left sleeves. How does that even happen???😮😂 I must’ve been both super distracted and also hyper focused on just this task…”pay no attention to the other bits all dangling there, just put this sleeve on!” We’ve all been there, if we’ve either pushed ourselves to level up our skills… or just lived a busy life ❤
I love all of the little ornaments and the low stakes means of playing with modifications! I’m really hoping to wrap up some projects soon and cast on at least one ornament this year!
I hadn't watched your video dedicated to the Christmas ornament patterns since I didn't think I would be super interested, but omg they're so adorable!! Now I want to make some lol. It's almost time for me to start the double knitted button band on my Champagne Cardigan and I'm so nervous, especially because I've never knit one before and I'm using black yarn. Thank you for mentioning the video rec! I completely forgot about it after watching Florence's video.
Honestly I never thought I would want to knit ornaments either but now that I have, I can’t stop 😂 Good luck with the button band on your champagne cardigan! Push through the struggle because it’s so worth the effort and that new video makes it so much easier 🙌🏼

Love all your ornaments!! The polar bear looks a bit like a sheep, lol. Don't feel bad, I knitted a elephant for my daughter when I was first learning and it turned out really wonky. But she loved it anyway! 😊
Hahaha as long as I think it’s cute…whatever animal it becomes…I’m happy with it 😂 but it was a great first stuffed animal project and I definitely see myself making more

Totally - much more manageable frogging back several minutes of knitting vs several days with larger projects! And would love to see if you make any 🤩
