when considering if you should camp or not PLEASE CONSIDER YOUR SAFETY!! if you have never camped please know: bring a friend and take shifts napping! please don't just fall asleep by yourself on the side walk. not that if you do camp something WILL happen, but there is a reason why venues don't allow camping and it's because it can be a question of safety sometimes. for example, i camped for a show once in the penn station area of manhattan (very seedy) and a drunk guy tried to get into my tent while i was sleeping in it! if my friend wasn't there to stop him who knows what could have happened. so please, please please, bring a friend or make friends on line who can watch out for you while you sleep. generally i like to skip out on sleeping at night and i like to take a quick nap around twelve the day before and have someone wake me up around four. that way i feel refreshed by the time the show starts and miss out on a lot of pre-show anxiety. with regard to the whole bringing friends thing: i suggest asking your friends to account for you in the number system! so if your friend is camping and gets there a few hours before you and is number 102 in line, ask them to write 103 so when you get there you can just add yourself in and nobody is confused about what number they are in line. i've found it really helps people accept you getting in line. on the more fun side of things: i would also recommend bringing a few items to keep yourself from feeling gross! i like to bring colgate wisps (essentially portable toothbrushes) and a little deodorant (spray deodorant is easier and cleaner to share with others... hello friendships) and perfume to keep me feeling fresh. a pack of cards can be a lot of fun if it isn't windy and is an easy way to make friends. anyone want to play bs around you? they're welcome to join. i also like to bring super cheap throw blankets from a place like target and before the show around three ish i like to give them out to people who have to sleep on the street because they have no other choice... spread the good, you know? a lot of people throw out their camping stuff and it is such a waste. if any of you are camping for the upcoming tour please be safe and have fun.
The background is already making me jealous, thank you for the tips! It's really helpful, since i have never bought a ticket before and I'm really confuse about camping and stuff but it's really helpful thank you so much again!
I have GA tickets/floor section for citi field and I have NEVER camped before but I will so this was helpful. I'm 4' 11" so I'm really short so I have to be near the front to see. I hope people do not shove me around way too much due to my height :/
adoresessy101 hey just wondering how was your experience being 4’11 in GA? I am 5ft and so apprehensive to get GA tickets would really appreciate if you could give some feedback on how it was for you
I usually have a hotel or Airbnb very close by to drop my stuff off. Some people have cars they put their stuff in, and sadly some just leave it out and forget about it (like a tent) :/
Tysm💜 I’m really gonna need this since I’m going to citi field and I got ga. I’m so excited I can’t camp out since I have school on Friday so I’m just going to come early in the morning around 1or 2 to line up.
N B yo! idk if you’re asking me or her/him but if you’re tryna get to close to the front i recommend going before 10 pm the night before! i don’t know from experience, but from the videos i saw people tend to go around this time. even then you may be in the middle. but normally, if you go at like 2 am you’re most likely going to be in the middle of the pit. if you’re really tryna be at the front, go as early as you can!
I'm 4'9 so I'm really worried about future BTS concerts. Though they're not guaranteed to come back to the US I want to be prepared if they do! I want to do ga if I can for the interaction aspect which I've heard happens the most on the walkway area. I feel like the barricade would be a good choice too but I'm not sure. I'll camp for a week in advance if I have to so I can see properly thanks to my height but I feel like it'd be worth it!
Wait ok question. So after you get into the official line you’re able to leave it ? Like would I be able to drive home real quick to shower and stuff ?
I got GA tickets to CitiField too but it’ll be my first BTS concert and my first concert in general so I’m trying to figure out the best way to go about it so this video was really helpful! Thanks! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Im watching this because me an my friend are planning to camp out (for ticket selling) when bts will go here in Philippines and im scared🤣 we will not camp out at the day of the concert she will just sleep at my house because our house is not that far from the arena(sorry for my bad english)
There’s a group of 15 of us camping out and we’re taking turns of 5 sleeping at our single hotel room lol so 10 people holding places for total 15 people, I hope no gets mad because we’ll all be there by the last night camping
That's a LOT of people that are essentially gonna be there on the last day. I dont see anyone being too happy about that >< but good luck. Let me know how it goes.
When soundcheck winners get out of the venue, do they go back to where they were originally standing or do they have the benefit of going in first in line again and enter before everyone else? Also, is there a separate line for merch? When should I go to that line?
Yes~ Soundcheck people go back in line where they were~ ^^ As for merch, there is a separate line. Last year the merch line was huge so I'm not sure how they're gonna do things at Staples Center this year. If you want ONLY an ARMY bomb, there will be separate line for that. As for other merch, probably at the start 10am is the best time to line up.
Wait, how do you have free time after getting into the official line for GA? Do they hold your place? I have GA for citifield and I have never camped for a concert before. I’m so nervous!!
hii!!! i know i'm super late... it's going to be my First concert next year and I'd really like some tips on what exactly I should bring... this helped me so much thank you! but have you got any tips on what I should do because I would really love to go camping and get some floor tickets
I think its ridiculous people are camping 5 days in advance for a lot of these concerts. ARMYs were never like that and tbh they're ruining the experience for everyone. People quit their jobs, missed school, etc... not a fan of this new change in the fandom... camping use to be fun. Wed camp for a day and then see BTS.. now it's almost a whole week of just camping.. :/
I know right!?? It's ridiculous and people are justifying it by saying you have to put in the hard work if you want to see the boys but 99% of Armys can't just neglect their responsibilities :(
Hey I had a question about where I should leave my stuff because I'm not planning on camping at the concert but I do want to take like a blanket and some other stuff so should i leave it there or should I take it with me in a bag?
This video is so helping, thank you. :) I was just wondering, it seems like you’ve camped out before at staples if I’m not wrong? I was wondering if staples ever said “no camping allowed at all” during your time bc they’re saying that right now and I’m afraid that they’ll actually ask you to leave even if you make an unofficial line and I’m also scared that they won’t take the unofficial line into consideration. Sorry I’m bombarding you with this haha. Do you think they’ll do that this time around?
Oh yeah. Well they always tell us before that no camping is allowed. Even for TRBinLA at the Novo which is also in downtown LA, they told us we couldnt camp but we still did it and the lines were honored. When I went to kcon they told me I couldn't camp on the property but I asked about the street and they said it was fine so I wouldnt really worry. I'll be going up to staff and talking to them so ^^
Thank you for your video! I have ga for citifield and it's my first time so I'm hella nervous! Especially cause there's gonna be A LOT of people 😫 But thank you your tips really helped!!!
I usually have an airbnb or hotel near the venue where I go and put my stuff away and get ready. Staples center is in downtown so theres shops with bathrooms everywhere but I'm not sure of other venues :/
Im coming from Arizona to the Staples Center concert and Im worried about where the unofficial line will be for camping since Im not staying at a hotel near there. I won't have time to go ask a staples center employee where the line will be since I plan on getting to LA so late at night. What should I do/where do I go?
I would suggest heading straight to staples center. If you're getting their pretty late there may already be a line and you'll be able to see it. If not. Head to the BACK of staples center near the 11th street entrance ( on chick hearn court ). If not, a quick walk around staples center will show you where the line is.
Anything over 24 hours is extra, but people have camped a week in advance for the LoverYourself tour in LA.. its a bit ridiculous tbh but yeah. The recent tour, everything was seated so theres no point in camping
hmm I would say about 4 to 5 hours~ Just enough to go back to the hotel, shower and get ready to come back. Each venue has been a little different. I try to get back 2 to 3 hours before the concert actually starts. Usually they let GA in around 2 hours in advance.
Center stage will be the one all the way in the back. Extended is the walk way part all the way up to very middle of the floor. When I mentioned extended, I'm referring to the square stage in the middle of the floor area not the one in the back (main stage) ^^ hope that helps
When you get moved to the official line, do you get a number? Because you said that we will have “free time” after but we need to come back to the line.
this last concert for BTS they gave you a wristband that had a number so you could leave and come back. but it depends on whoever is the promoter for the concert. usually theres someone in front of the line that numbers you and you can go and come back, but obviously not be gone for a whole day.
So after getting the wristband with the number on it you can leave the line? and come back and still have your place? im afraid if I leave then whenever i come back I wont have my place again
So that depends on the venue. Last year at Honda Center as soon as we got our wristbands we could leave and come back. I would make sure to have someone around you that remembers your name and face. At Staples Center, we got moved to the official line and then there was no wristband until we went inside the actual venue. So in that case, only leave once you're in the official line. I suggest just making friends with those around you and letting them know you'll be back later~ . Everyone's usually pretty cool with it.
ooo, thats a tough question. I've never actually driven to Staples Center (I usually get an airbnb). I do remember some people parking on the street that people camp on. Or across the street. I would just drive around the are and look for signs that allow you to park. I don't think you'll be able to park at staples center's parking area but since its a downtown area I'm pretty sure there are close by parking structures that are 24 hours~
hey!! So my friend and I have the problem that the concert is on friday and we are probably coming on Wednesday but our parents dont allow us to camp all the time they only allow us to join the line like until it turns dark now we have a friend which starts camping on monday and do you think we could join her and leave the line when it turns dark and return again and then finally stay in the line on friday on 2am
That's honestly something you may have to ask the people around you about or the people in the front of the line. When I camped for LY tour in LA they would ask questions if you wrent there at night and kind of required you to be there . But if the people around you dont care then its fine
Hi I have a question I know I'm late but I'm going to the BTS Chicago concert on May 12th and I got floor tickets sec B4 row 7 seats 3-5 and I'm super confused like should I get their early or do I have a specific reserved spot
You dont have to get there early ~ since you have seats. Everyone enters before the show and sits, no camping needed ^^ you can get there a little early if you want but not necessary
Yes~ the only tickets that require lining up early /camping are pit / GA tickets. Usually they're P1 tickets or specifically say P1 GA or P1 Standing. Everyone else can come in whenever they want since they have seated ~
Diana Hernandez know one really knows where exactly?😂 at least I don’t, I think there will be a place where everyone will just randomly start a line, then I guess when it’s time to start the official line the staff will move us to the official line?
so, my question is, lets say you were the very first person in line, do you have to go to the main stage? or could you stand in front of the extended stage? thank you!
When you camped out, were you able to sleep at night? Were the other people in line camping out with you really loud and blasting music? I'm camping out and worried about not being able to sleep the night before the show. Should I bring earplugs? Thank you
Usually everyone quiets down around 2am and most people sleep. I don't think there's ever been a time where people get super loud at night. People are just talking in the beginning and then the day of the concert but not at night~ You could bring some earplugs just in case! :D
Wait I'm in confusion lol, so is lining up the night before useless then? It doesn't count? When does the official line start and do you have to go in the same order as unoficial line? If you have an Insta please tell me lol I need help :')
who camps a day before, people camp days before also bringing your Switch & computer wtf you couldn't and shouldn't do that like try doing that @ Oakland and tell me you ain't gonna get robbed, technically you camp outside the venue that is only if your homeless though !
This was obviously made before this recent tour had started. Every BTS concert before was always the day before for camping, nothing more. LOL No one's gonna rob you if you're smart about keeping your stuff out of plain sight, Common sense is a thing?. LOL I live in the bay, so I know.
I guess that's for BTS then cause for someother kpop concerts people camp out days in advance in S.F., also out of curiosity what part of the Yay area do you live in?@@meddy0811
I guess that isn't just to say that only happens to BTS, I'm pretty sure that happens to any medium to big Kpop Group although to be honest Kpop groups need to stop coming to America cause the American radio stations love to manipulate and use them for views and for even more traction to get their station buzzing plus some fans are dumb af, like they are humans too, respect their fking privacy and don't stalk them when their traveling or where they are sleeping or take candid photos of them! @@meddy0811
when considering if you should camp or not PLEASE CONSIDER YOUR SAFETY!! if you have never camped please know: bring a friend and take shifts napping! please don't just fall asleep by yourself on the side walk. not that if you do camp something WILL happen, but there is a reason why venues don't allow camping and it's because it can be a question of safety sometimes.

Why people camp outside the stadium like 20+ hours before the concert?

im scared someone brings a candle and turns all the tents in fire while we're sleeping
i really needed this video cause i am going to see them on the 9th of October in London!! Thank you
Hope it won't turn out to be like "Hunger Games". Things tend to become a frenzy, especially when global megastars like BTS arrives in town.
I really hope it doesn't either! Not trying to suffer through pit the whole week T_T but like you said, its to be expected with BTS
what advice are you giving you can bring food and agua in depending on the venue permitted and permitted items list !
This was so helpful !! Thank you so much for making this video !!💜
Of course~ ^^ I'm glad it helped!
But what do I do with all that stuff when the concert starts (extra clothes, tents, chairs etc.)
If u got the wristband of official line u can take ur belonging to ur hotel or car
Great video! You addressed so many of my questions about going to a bts concert. Thank youuu! 💜
I have GA tickets for citi field but I have a job so I can’t camp lol
It's okay me too ㅠㅠ I'm flying in on Friday but I dont know if I'm going to camp xD

Maritza Zepeda thats still really good though!! Many army’s are going the morning of so you have a good chance as well👍🏻👍🏻
I'm short but strong asf lmao
so, my question is, lets say you were the very first person in line, do you have to go to the main stage? or could you stand in front of the extended stage? thank you!
You can go wherever you want:)
they only play music in the moorning/afternoon, at night it's pretty quiet
Wait I'm in confusion lol, so is lining up the night before useless then? It doesn't count? When does the official line start and do you have to go in the same order as unoficial line? If you have an Insta please tell me lol I need help :')
Its not useless. The unofficial line turns into the official line ~
@@meddy0811 thank you sm
❤❤❤
❤️👍❤️👍 BTS ARMY!
Thank you so much. this helps a lot
I went to all of them but just saw this :( sorry! ㅠㅠ the next concert in LA let's meet
Suree. I went on the 6th and the 8th as well. Hope to see you anytime besides BTS concert! :)
who camps a day before, people camp days before also bringing your Switch & computer wtf you couldn't and shouldn't do that like try doing that @ Oakland and tell me you ain't gonna get robbed, technically you camp outside the venue that is only if your homeless though !
@@Kristian179 yeah BTS concerts have been a little different until recently. Now people camp days in advance. I live in San Jose. ~
@@meddy0811
It's not even allowed to camp then why are you making a video about this??
Because camping happens regardless of whether its allowed or not. Look at LA. People camped 4 days in advance and it was allowed in the end
Tips: Do not go to BTS concerts as the crowds are full of 13 years olds on flip flops
Definitely not true~ :)
@@meddy0811 I've been to a lot of concerts and BTS most certainly had the worst crowds, like fan girls to level 100000
y’all really out here smellin musty 🤢
It's called deodorant and showering
My first time camping omg
