I have a 21 Zh2 SE as well and it is so much fun, i did put a Brock's swingarm extension kit on it and that has made a world of a difference with keeping that front end down and it's still just as responsive in the twisties. Love your content man! One day, i'll make it to Tampa with my bike to ride with you.
And h2/zh2 are both cast pistons and exactly the same bottom end. Only difference is the heads, ports, springs and the zh2 piston is domed a little higher for compression bump but both cast.
I am 48 now and rode sports bikes for the last 15yrs and recently changed to a ZH2 and man the thing turns you into a proper squid especially with a can on, Wheelie fun all day long even if you don't want to haha and with comfort!! 10 yrs ago it would have been the H2 all day long and is one hell of a bike but for me and the streets it has to be the ZH2

A fellow motovlogger, Ray Bowden, mentioned tha, after test riding the ZH2 and compared it to his BMW M1000R he thought the zh2 would beat his M1000R even with both bikes being flashed !! So, my guess is that the zh2 would probably beat the ducati streetfighter as well.....Personally, I would pick the ZH2 because, for one, you can actually tour long distances on it, the ergonomics is in favor of tall riders without lower back or butt issues and the knee position is neutral without strain; while at the same time it's nimble and powerful and fast !
I got the 23 ZH2 SE but rather have the H2. Unfortunately at the dealership, nobody had the h2. Z was the only ride available and i snatched it up. But the Z is beautiful
I love the Z. Both bikes have cast pistons though. The H2 has much larger exhaust ports to allow more air to be pushed, and the injectors can spray 30% more fuel. This is why it can make much more power after a tune. The Z H2 also needs a sprocket change to go faster. It has 18/46 sprocket gearing while the H2 has 18/44 gearing. Dropping the Z to a 44 will reduce wheeling and also make it go faster. I'd rather have it wheelie though. Z H2 completes with Naked bikes with really high torque at lower RPMs, and is insane in the respect. However it won't beat a naturally aspirated 1000 like a zx10 or an s1000rr. Those are 7-8% down on HP, but are 20% lighter. They have a far better power to weight ratio.
@@ghostx7993 Yeah I knew there were a few more smaller details. The boost gears are the same I was told. Because Stage 2, 3, and 4 gears for the Z H2 are the same as the H2.
I have back issues same as diego so i plan on getting a zh2 in august but i want it to be able to compete with the best of them so plan on getting it flashed/tuned, lowering it, extending the back end to hopefully level out the weight a bit better, adding stage 3 gears, upgrading the fuel pump system, putting a vandemon exhaust on it, and maybe a intercooler system just to help with top end performance n then im torn between a sprint filter and mwr filter with a few other minor tweaks

He said he was 210 at the wheel? I'd like to see this again with a Brenn stage 2 Z H2 that's lowered as well. That's 240hp and speaking from experience the Z H2 is very bad for wheelies. Mine before i swapped sprockets would wheelie hard from 3rd to 4th when racing...not a good feeling on a standard with no dampner.

@@steve166h I’m not sure if it’s necessary I’m sure a tune would be able to bypass the differences in diameter of the exhaust headers however the stock exhaust headers are smaller in diameter than the aftermarket ones and the bike is moving a lot more air so you don’t wanna bottleneck on the back end of the combustion process. So in conclusion if you want to maximize the potential of horsepower gain, I would switch to a aftermarket header if I were you
So 10hp more than him at the wheel? His dyno could have also been more conservative. I'm guessing your rev limiter was raised by 300 or so over stock which is where the additional power comes from. Some people raise it, and some people choose not to. But unless you have stage 2 super charger gearing, the OEM headers don't restrict air flow enough to make much of a difference. You'd save weight, and it might look better.
Except for the fact that the oem headers on a Zh2 has a cat in it (as well as the stock can) and the akro full headers(can only speak for them seeing as though I have them) are wider in diameter and have no cat therefore moving a considerable more amount of air
@@08poochie08 But you aren't going to push more air out unless you can get more air in. Will need stage 2 gearing in the supercharger for that. Otherwise the stock headers aren't restricting airflow enough to merit wider pipes. Plenty of tuners posting videos of the same model with different exhaust configurations. They all end with near identical power, even with the stock headers. This is true for most modern naturally aspirated superbikes as well.
@@SethPortland Ok after further thought I guess I can understand this, there is a video of a guy who has an H2R and he explains why even a heavily modded H2 will still never really match up to a stock H2R and he explains how it's all about the ability to move air through the combustion process and how the H2R intakes damn near twice the amount of air as a modded H2 hence why the H2R has two functional air ducts. so in conclusion, I now concur with your statement.
Zh2 has different higher compression pistons.. both bikes are cast pistons. Zh2 doesn’t have oil squirters for the pistons like h2 has.. same rods in both bikes.. cams valves and the entire head itself are completely different between the two.. h2 has oval head ports and a way more aggressive cam..

The Z and SX both have forged pistons. The differences are exhaust headers, fuel injectors, pistons, and a few internal difference.
Camshaft/ boost gears / and sprocket gearing

Your voy on the Z-H2 needs to scoot up to the tank, not back against his passenger pillion, may help keep the front end a bit lower
In my opinion, the ninja is more stable and much more build for higher speeds. ZH2 is build for more fun in slower roads
