@@DrewD76 Not really. The reason Federal employees insurance is so desirable (I have it), is it's not restricted by state, i.e. you can get any policy offered anywhere in the country. This way everyone can tailor their coverage to their needs; pay for what they want, not pay for what they don't want, etc. The big problem with insurance coverage is the lack of options, leading toward lack of competition.

@@leestebbins5051For a while under the Obama administration it was required to have health insurance. I know because I had to pay an extra 600 dollars back in taxes for 2 years because I didn't have insurance.

He did absolutely nothing for Southwest Louisiana in the aftermath of historical Hurricanes Laura followed 6 weeks later by Hurricane Delta. NOTHING. The only thing he has heart for is the petrochemical industries, particularly Big Oil (who stuff his campaign coffer) and in fact advocates for resumption and expanding drilling in the Gulf of Mexico which has caused numerous disasters including historically the severe hurricanes, floods, extreme temperatures, wildfires in the marshlands and forests. He is a disgrace, and don’t fall for his down home cornpone act, he has a Harvard Law Degree and can be quite eloquent depending on which audience he is talking to, with much more sophisticated speech. He’s not on your side.

I had a friend who applied at area 5 for help cause she couldn't afford to pay Obama care and pay for her medication she was so aggravated she missed the help by 5 hundred dollars the thing was when her doctor said she needed new hearing aides vocation rehabilitation did help her but it took almost a year of paperwork to get them it is hard to survive

The real question is - why does any insulin cost $500+? Look at all the other countries where a via costs $8 -20. What's the deal?
We need to clone this bright, courageous, man. The good people of Louisiana are blessed to have a wonderful representative in you. If you were in MI I'd be the first to vote for you. You'd probably never run for president because you have a more powerful voice where you are. Keep up the wonderful work you've been doing.
No we are not, he does very little for our state, he did nothing when our communities in Southwest Louisiana in the aftermath of category 4 Hurricane Laura, the historically worst hurricane in 100+ plus years followed by Hurricane Delta, another category 3 severe storm a mere 6 weeks after Laura. He did NOTHING. Coming home after evacuation our city it looked like the whole city had been bombed. FEMA provided very little support to a very limited number of residents as their funding had been reallocated by Trump to Homeland Security, for some they referred us to the SBA for a disaster loan to cover costs insurance would not cover. John Kennedy did nothing to advocate for us, he didn’t even bother to tour our city. As far as I’m concerned he is worthless.

Back around 2000, my now late wife was diabetic. She paid around $30/month even without insurance. That same insulin now is over $500 and I had to go on medicaid to be able to afford it.
