I’m a strong dude who’s not really emotional but this song makes me almost tear up every time for some reason.
It’s such a beautiful song and the vibe it gives off is out of this world and surreal for me. Truly this song is such a fucking vibe. It just completely takes me somewhere else and hits home for me on so many levels and I can’t even pin point or explain what exactly it hits on.
It gives me hope, inspires me, makes me sad, makes me happy, and just takes me on this roller coaster of thoughts and emotions about my life; like a highlight reel of my greatest joys and greatest pains and a song about them.
This sounds corny but it’s like it massages my soul and heart; acknowledging my pains but telling me it’ll be okay at the same time.
Very soothing and calming, and I think it’s the sense of peace and realizing my progress despite all I’ve been through is that what makes me almost tear up. Looking back at all that I’ve gone through and seeing where I am today, stronger than ever because of those dark and painful times and the gratitude that washes over me for having gone through those pains and growing from them.
Realizing that it does in fact, get better.
