RIP one of the great goats of our time. You'll truly be missed
The Art Tatum of Gospel! RIP King!!!
He had THE FASTEST Hands I ever seen or heard and his precision was second to none!!!!!!!😢 RIP LEGEND!
Literally one of the best of our time and an even better person than a musician!! 🙏🏾💯
💯Absolutely God Trst His Soul 🙏🏾😢
“You gotta be a musician or take it to a concert hall or a club.”
Truer words have never been spoken.
Beautiful!! We will keep his sound alive!!!
Man that’s a gift sound nobody else will never have ever.
What a great video it sadens my heart to know this great man of God has passed on💔💔😭😭😭 RIH King, you truly a GOAT, thats a fact jack💯❤️💜🧡💙🙏🙏🙏🙏😘😘
What an awesome talent! We're continuing to pray for your total healing. God is able. You are loved and supported 🙏🏽🎹🎶♥️
Truly Gifted, thanks for sharing!!
Thank you for recording this. A piece of history every time I get some Gaskin video
This is as good as it gets 🤷🏾♂️🙌🏾🙌🏾
Marvelous!🔥🎶.
In the past, when I would apply as a musician at a church...do you know how many Pastors asked me what did I as my main job? When I told them music...they were shocked. They thought music was my side gig because they thought nothing of musicians and thought music was low pay...because that's what they were willing to pay.
Willing? More like they wouldn't give a red cent if they could get away with it but unfortunately they can't have church without musicians nowadays. Welcome to the Sunday Club feat holy wine
Rest in peace, legend!
Not even looking. The best of the best.
Mannnn listen! You not gonna come up after this level of amazingness! Y’all should’ve just turn the organ off and send it back to the music store!
🐐🐐🕊️
This guy plays anything scary good
He played the Whole Hammond. Top deck, bottom deck And foot pedals. Most can't. Phenomenal.
he had an itch to play that day i can tell 😂
Q is very special
How did I miss this...I'm in Florida! What church was this?
May you Rest In Peace man🤦🏾♂️🙏🏾‼️
Unbelievable man 😢
UNREAL!!!!

Dude always reminded me of Rodney Jerkins lol
The level this guy is playing is difficult to be appreciated by most common audiences. If you’re not a musician you might be thinking he just playing really fast, but it’s more than that.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty
Isn't he overplaying at times?
Fats Waller reincarnated... he's a good guy

So many MALE MUSICIANS bothered by my comments in regards to what's the point of playing on this level if it's not bringing you fame and money? Talents and gifts are given to an individual to be used as a means to financially support that individual. Otherwise, why be given the gift? To have fun with as a side hustle and then have a primary job you hate that pays you nothing?
There is like absolutely NO point playing on that level if you're only playing in church and are not rich and famous like jazz greats Oscar Peterson, Art Tatum, Erroll Garner etc.
You're only playing on that level to impress yourself and the people around you. You may do some clubs, weddings, concerts, may go on tour with a major artist etc. but YOU'RE not to a major label as an artist and you are not packing out auditoriums full of people. So what's the point?
Because he enjoys to do it to make people happy, people have choices just like you had the choice to type this
The Jazz greats were not that rich, many of them died extremely poor, especially those signed to major labels. As a musician, you must first love and enjoy what you are doing, then impact is the next thing that you want to be concerned about. Money and fame are secondary, they are important but never the destination. Musicians who become rich are those who pay attention to the business side of things in addition to their talent and craft
Comment makes zero sense. I feel dumber after having read it.
This guy is beyond Awesome, I'm speachless,!
🤷🏾♂️What's the point in this comment?!
