Adored. but for this particular thing literally any sniper will do. I was just using it to break the shield boxes in the boss room.
Succession is very good tho. Only other sniper comparable is Izanagi's Burden but that takes up an exotic slot.

Absolutely.
Only place it would be less efficient is GMs with a team because you’re fighting for kills. Solo GM is good tho
