One of the World's greats , and to be able to hear of his successful years as a master hunter , besides his stories I could listen to him all day . We have a patent pending Fred bear recurve and it will always remain with our family . It is true he is always alive in the woods and in the wind when we hunt and to be able to live a life he lived would have been a rush especially being charged and chased . God Bless you Fred Bear for passing down your stories and memories ,. Kurt Goudy was a great narrator in this clip interviewing Fred .
Love Vintage outdoors. When things where a lot purer. And a magnificent blessing! Still pure joy. Just changed a lot. And regulated more. But still worth every moment in the feild. With freinds and family! Thanks so much!
+Ephraim Gillming I thought the pops were from a record cleaning. Then halfway through I realized it was a fire. You can listen closely and hear more dimensions to just the pops that hint to its really a fire.
In 1977 my mom bought me a fred bear compound bow and was excellent archery hunting with that bow i killed bull and cow elk doe and byck deer with that bow
A true legend. Fred Bear played an incredible role in bringing archery hunting to the where it is today.
It would be awesome if this was remastered to make it clearer. Great info and perspective from a legend.

My hero!
Excellent
Well shit I need this album now.
great post, very informative - but for the future, please remove the static and pops with audicity or something, just #fyi
I think the pops sound like they are sitting next to a camp fire. :)

Cool - either way so glad that this rare Fred Bear record is up there. Thank you to the poster. Great stuff.
it's authentic. from a kinder, gentler time. #savethepops =)
Pops and snaps sound are dust particles hitting the stylus or small scratches in vynal albums
