Thiru. A. Kulandaivel Mudaliar the founder of this group lived in the small village near Avinashi. He entered the business in 1962.This first shop slowly evolved into The Chennai Silks and is now the largest textile kingdom in Tamil Nadu. This year they enter their 60 years in business and this was marked as a celebration at Gandhi Museum Campus in Madurai.
