When I just started to doubt in FreeCAD (because of spoils from commercial software) it''s really motivating to watch stuff like this!!! FreeCAD can do a miracles without a doubt if you put effort in this. Thank you. While watching I was confused about that "Part library" on right side of screen. Is it some kind of addon or is it a custom macro? Did you made yourself some kind of folder? How could I achieve something similar like this? Because I'd like to have similar library but main focus isn't for interior/architecture. More like a mechanical library.
Parts library is a macro that is part of the FC library package. You can download it and insert it into the FC macros folder on your machine. After opening FC just run the macro and the parts library window will open, in options you can specify a folder for the components of your own library if you prefer. By the way, there is also a video with components in the mechanical area.
This is the first time I`ve seem freecad as a really viable interior design/architecture solution so far.
